Position: PMC QA/QC Engineer (Client Representative)
Work Scope: Installation of new 18” Multiphase Subsea Pipeline connecting Hail & Mubarraz Island, Subsea Concrete Sleeper / Mattress Installation, Shorepull, Mid Tie-in & associated Island AG, UG Piping, Pig Launcher/Receiver, Structural, Civil Foundation etc.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carryout all the inspection, Review and approval of subcontractor’s ITP / Procedure/Reports for Subsea Pipeline Installation of Ø 18inch, 25-26 mm thk Multiphase pipeline, Well Head Pipelines (DNVGL-ST-F101 - Submarine pipeline) Subsea Pipeline Auto Welding GMAW, NDT- AUT / RT / Internal X-Ray, Abrasive Blasting, CANUSA-HSS Coating, High density Polyurethane Foam Coating, Hydrotest & Commissioning etc.
Project: EPC for Upgrade of Oil Export Flow Measurement in ADNOC Onshore Fields to Fiscal Service Quality
(Location: Buhasa, Bab, Asab & Neb)

Work Scope: Fabrication, Installation & Commissioning of Metering Skid with associated 36”/36mm thk pipeline, Structural Pipe Rack, Civil Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attending Pre-Inspection Meeting at the beginning of the inspection activities with
Client/Contractor/Vendor representatives for understanding QA/QC requirements.
• Preparation/Review/Approval of supplier quality documents such as ITP, WPS/PQR, NDT Procedure,
Testing Procedure etc.
• Coordinating the inspection schedule and nominating the third-party inspector for inspection & testing.
• Review EN 10204 - 3.1, 3.2 MTC and supporting test reports / certificates for Pipes, Fittings, Valves,
Gasket & Bolts etc in accordance with Quality plan / ITP.
• Raw material inspection for pipe & fittings, Witnessing of Destructive tests Tensile, Bend, Impact,
Hardness, HIC, and SSCC Test.
• Witness the hydrostatic test, Seat leakage test, Visual / dimensional checks as per the Valve Data Sheets
& GA Drawings.
• Witness for PQR & WQT and review of WPS & WQT certificates.
• Inspect the welding fabrication including NDE and assembly according to project specification such as
weld map, WPS, approved welding book, Hydro Test packs, MRB etc.
• Weld Visual and Final Dimensional inspection after completion of welding before & after PWHT.
• Spot Witness Check of PT, PMI, PAUT, MT, Hardness test & review of reports.
• Carried out surveillance during PWHT, RT film interpretation and RT reports review as per project
specification.
• Witness for blasting & surface preparation checks for Salt contamination, Surface profile, Surface
cleanliness, Dust level Check.
• Witness for Visual inspection of coating, Final Painting inspection for DFT checks & Adhesion test as per
the project requirements.
• Preparation & Review of MCC Dossier, Vendor Data Book, Construction Dossier and co-ordinate for Final
MRB hand over to Client as per Project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Quality Management system implementation and maintaining effectiveness throughout
Project .
• Quality documents preparation and submission for allotted projects as per deliverable list.
• Review and approval of vendors/Sub-contractor’s quality documents.
• Involve with project site quality co-ordination and support in all QA/QC related activities.
• Performing all QA/QC Activities (Preparation Inspection & Test Plan, Procedures, Incoming-process-
final Inspection, NDT, WPS, PQR, WPQR etc.)
• Experienced in working with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel, API 1104, AWS D1.1 and API Valve Testing
• Preparation & conducting Procedure Qualification Test ( WPS/PQR ) & Performance Tests (WPQR) on
standards ASME section IX, API 1104, AWS D1.1 with Uphill, Downhill, Dollymix Progression &
External/ Internal Clamps.
• Witnessing of Destructive tests Tensile, Bend, Impact, Hardness, HIC, SSCC Test.
• Familiar with SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW welding process, electrodes & Filler Wires.
• Materials Handled : Carbon Steel, Low alloy steel, Stainless Steel and HDPE / GRE Material.
• Review of Quality Documents of bought out and sub contracted items against Project Quality
Plan/Data Sheets/Project Specification.
• Familiar with Welding activities, inspection and testing of Piping, Pipeline, Pressure Vessels, Tanks &
Structural ( Welding, Dimensional, Bolt Torquing, Hardness Testing, PMI,
Blasting/Painting/Galvanizing Inspection, Holiday Testing, Pressure Testing, Pigging, etc )
• Attend and prepares records for quality audits and inspections by client, and consultants.
• Coordination of QC Inspectors, NDT inspectors and Subcontractors and clarification of any concerns.
• Vendor Inspection Welding & Coating- Piping, Pressure vessels, Tanks, Structural Steels etc.
• Liaison with Third Party Inspectors (TPIA)/Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA)/PMC/Clients
representatives and EPC contractors’ quality designees to ensure quality service.
• Co-ordinate with all inter departments quality needs including engineering design.
• Responsible for all bidding & Proposal related quality deliverables.
• Preparation for final dossier handover to clients.

• Monitor and control the fabrication activities as per the ITP/Contract specification/Codes and
Standards/Approved Drawings.
• Perform incoming material inspections and conduct review of material test certificates.
• Witness testing of bough out items (Pipes, Fittings, Valves etc. ) at vendor’s premises.
• Checking alignment / Orientation of pipes as per Iso Drawing
• Checking Pipe Stringing as per the ROW chainage in the Pipeline Drawing / alignment Sheet.
• Fitup & Weld Visual inspection, Review NDT Reports.
• Pre-heating before weld, Inter pass temperature, PWHT as per WPS line requirement
• Surveillance of welding parameters /Consumables for compliance with WPS
• Monitoring calibration status of welding machines, Inspection tools.
• Offer the NDT to welding joints depending on Code & reviewing of NDT Reports.
• Testing of Valves Pressure test / In-Out Cavity test as per codes & Project spec
• Monitor and control the fabrication activities as per the ITP/ Standards/Approved Drawings.
• Perform incoming material inspections and conduct review of material test certificates.
• Checking alignment / Orientation of pipes as per Iso Drawing
• Fitup & Weld Visual inspection, Review NDT Reports.
• Pre-heating before weld, Inter pass temperature, PWHT as per WPS line requirement
