Presently employed as Procurement Coordinator at SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining & Petrochemical Company Ltd., from August 2013 till present.
The roles and responsibilities working in Materials & Services Procurement Division (M.S.P.D) are,
• Execute purchase of all CAPEX & OPEX Material Requirements to meet Proponents’ needs for Maintenance and Operations of the Refinery & Petrochemical complex at the right price, at the right quantity, at the right time meeting required specifications and quality standards.
• Perform processing of Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Quote Evaluation and awarding of Purchase Orders (PO)/ Outline level Agreements for OEM Spare Parts and Consumables replenishment based on Warehouse Inventory and Material Requirement Planning.
• Prepare, maintain and conclude all purchasing transactions on SAP MM related to Material Procurement adhering to company policies, procedures and schedule of authority approvals.
• Coordinate all Technical Evaluation with the Methods & Reliability Team, End Users and Quality/ Inspection departments wherever applicable.
• Monitor vendors’ quality & performance and report to Vendor Relations Head for evaluation.
• Special assignment as Buyer for Critical Spare Parts Acquisition Project and Emergency Procurement and material preparations for Lenders Test.

• Exposure to the Refining & Petrochemical Industry with thorough knowledge on material and spare parts requirements for a complex refinery complex.
• Sound understanding of Refinery Manufacturing Processes, Environment and functioning of several units like Crude Distillation Unit (CDU), Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU), Hydrocracking Units - Mild (MHC) & Distillate (DHC), Fluidised Catalytic Cracking (FCC), Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR), Hydrogen Production Unit (HPU), Delayed Coker Unit (DCU) and Coke Conveyor Belt.
• Built up relations with various manufactures across the globe for Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Column, Heat Exchangers, Tube Bundles, Safety Equipments, Analysers, Control & Measurement Instruments, Piping, Valves, Fittings and much more.
• Exposure in purchase of Laboratory grade and Industrial grade Chemicals including catalysts and blending additives.
• Functional Level involvement on SAP system improvements on MM Modules as per the real time requirements by preparing system customisation requests and user testing and approvals.
• Honored with multiple Promotions, recognizing the performance and contributions, facilitating flawless, timely procurement with maximum savings.
As a Procurement Engineer,
• Review of Material Requisitions.
• Identify and source out the feasible suppliers for different project materials confirming the standards & procedures of Saudi Aramco.
• Prepare Bid Package and Invite Quotations from selected approved suppliers.
• Coordinate the Technical Evaluation of offers from suppliers with Engg. Department.
• Commercial Evaluation of bids & selection of the most viable supplier through negotiations.
• Prepare PO recommendation to Saudi Aramco, Place PO and follow up the post PO activities.
• Monitor further changes in MR if any, and ensure POs are in-line with latest material requisitions.
• Evaluate supplier performances and prioritise the best suppliers for future supplies.
• Prepare, formulate various Progress Reports for submission to Client, Saudi Aramco. Attend weekly progress meetings and closely monitor and ensure activities as per the interest of the employer and Client - Saudi Aramco.
• Ensure QA/QC requirements are abided throughout the procurement processes as per SA standards.
As SPDP Coordinator,
• Saudi Aramco Project Management Team assigned SPDP Coordinator for three awarded BIs of SA - Where responsible to collect, review, coordinate, follow up and expedite all activities for approval of Spare Parts Data Packages (SPDP) for project materials.
Job Responsibilities covered
• Execute the purchasing activities which include inviting quotations, evaluation of the quotes place order and expedite the activities till delivery.
• General book keeping and Administration of the office.
• Ensure the quality standards and procedures as per the ISO 9001:2008 and organise periodic audits.
• Sourcing, shortlisting and conducting initial interviews with the candidates when the requirement for manpower arises.
• Conduct periodic performance appraisals and organise employee trainings on employee requests.
• Evaluation of daily timesheets, generating monthly payroll and coordinate the salary payment through the Banking Partner.
