Mechanical Application Engineer (Analysis, Conceptual design &prototype development)

Black Pearl& ITS PRINCIPALS are involved in research, Power Train Engineering, Suspension and Steering, Vehicular Electronics, Body design and Manufacturing Engineering through rapid development and production engineering process along with the tooling design and development and supplying of various assemblies and equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)


Task #1: Innovative Conceptual Design & Fabrication
Role: Team Lead Tool used: Pro/E 5.0 (Part, Assembly)
Responsibilities: • To create the conceptual design of the product/model/mechanism by using Pro/E 5.0.
• Design involves both Mechanical design using Hand Calculation and software using Pro/E 5.0
• Leading a team of 2 engineers & 2 fabricators
• Integration of the product/model/mechanism to the off-road vehicle which we are developing.
• Testing the integrated the product/model/mechanism in anticipatory failure analysis. And freeze the product for production.

Role: Testing & Research Studies: Responsibilities: • Studying the previous function of the product/model/system
• Reengineering/reverse engineering the system to attain the better efficiency
• Testing the Products according to the SAE guidelines.

Role: Analysis Engineer Tool used: Ansys 14.0 (APDL, Workbench) & Pro/E 5.0 (Part, Assembly)
Responsibilities: • Co-coordinating with automotive engineer/design head for the drawings of the product.
• Analyzing the Product with FEA software ANSYS 14.0
• Guiding the Automotive engineer/Design Head with the FEA result obtain in finalizing the design of the product
Projects Accomplished: Category: 1. Explicit dynamics: Crash analysis of the vehicle (Crash guard), Front Frame
2. Static structural: Stress analysis of Chassis, Front Frame, Canopy
3. Failure analysis: CV shaft, Body part holding brackets, Seat frame, ROPS
4. Buckling Analysis: Spacer for wheel of the vehicle, Chassis.
