• Providing support to:
o Tender Cell to estimate and follow up tender results for IT services
o Engineering input for project proposals presented by Estimating Team for purpose of technical, value engineering & cost analysis
• Assisting in Design / Selection of ELV equipment based on Project Specification
• Responsible for revising shop drawings
• Participating in site coordination, design and progress meetings
• Engineering for procurement; material purchase & requisition, technical evaluation and review documents
• Looking after construction installation & field coordination and resolving problems arising during installation
• Interacting with:
o Contractors & consultants for carrying out specific engineering tasks
o Procurement Department during equipment tendering and providing technical input during review process
• Supervising site in-charges for various live projects and maintenance projects ensuring timely completion of task and optimizing material & manpower.
• Generating project progress & pending activities reports and communicating directly with the management
• Testing & commissioning of all ELV systems such as Access control, Intrusion Detection System, CCTV, Structured cabling, , physical access control system, PABX .
• Documentation for Handing Over as per the Client requirement
• Responsible for revising shop drawings and reporting variations
• Undertaking activities related to:
o Preparation of material technical submittals, material approval schedule & drawing approval schedule
o Engineering for procurement including material specification & submittals, material purchase & requisition, technical evaluation and review documents
• Providing support to:
o Tender Cell to estimate and follow up tender results for IT services
o Engineering input for project proposals presented by Estimating Team for purpose of technical, value engineering & cost analysis
• Administering engineering tasks of design, conducting design review and value engineering as required
• Participating in site coordination, design and progress meetings
• Verifying design for ELV services as per international codes & standards
• Looking after construction installation & field coordination and resolving problems arising during installation
