Master Thesis: EMI suppression in inductive resonant wireless power transfer systems using variable pulse width technique. Software Used: PSIM Description: This thesis deals with the use of variable pulse width technique in inductive resonant wireless power transfer systems to reduce conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI). The effect of variable pulse width technique on conducted EMI reduction, efficiency and peak-to-peak output ripple voltage is studied in detail in the thesis. The wireless power transfer system is studied by using simulation in PSIM and experimentally.

Mini project : Street light that glows on detecting vehicle motion Software used: Keil Compiler Language : Embedded C and Assembly Description : The project is designed to detect vehicle movement on highway to switch ON only a block of street lights ahead of it (vehicle), and to switch OFF the trailing lights. This is achieved by sensing an approaching vehicle and then switches ON a block of street lights ahead of the vehicle. As the vehicle passes by, the trailing lights switch OFF automatically. Thus, we save a lot of energy Half Semester Project : Persistence of vision using wireless module Software used: Atmel Studio 6 and HyperTerminal Description : A Persistence of vision is the phenomenon of the eye by which an afterimage is thought to persist for approximately one twenty-fifth of a second on the retina. Persistence of vision (POV) devices display a 2-dimensional POV display is often accomplished by means of rapidly moving a single row of LEDs along a circular path. The effect is that the image is perceived by the viewer. Persistence of vision displays are commercially used in advertising as they are very attractive. It is a new and unique method of projecting an image or text of your choice. This project is aimed at creating knowledge in persistence of vision displays and using it to display a clock in a 3 dimensional space in which the data is inputted wirelessly.
