A). New Projects Quote Based on Tender Stage:
• Review of tender document of HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage works including the scope of work, specifications, and value engineering, tender bulletins, bill of quantities, technical offer, and technical clarification.
• Generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
• Can quote the job on tender stage for HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage systems based on scope of work with respect to project specifications.
B). Calculations, Material Submittals & Shop Drawings:
• Selection & sizing of all types for HVAC Equipment’s.
• ESP Calculations for selection of HVAC Equipment.
• Pump Head Calculations for Selection of Pumps.
• Other Calculations like Expansion Tank Size, Insulation Thickness for Chilled Water Pipes, NPSH, and Heat Load etc.
• Prepare specification documents to submit to the vendors for quotations of cost/price of HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage materials and equipments to evaluate same against tender specifications.
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
• Prepare Quotation Comparison of various vendors.
• Finalize the Price with the help of reporting manager based on budget price.
• Prepare Material submittal with the help of vendor for Submitting to Consultant.
• Maintain Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank and records.
• Guide Draftsman for preparing HVAC Shop Drawings based on IFC drawings.
• Prepare Request for Information based on technical issues.
• Attend the meeting with client & consultant to know project requirements.
• Attend meetings and generate queries.
• Maintain Coordination between site activities & design team.
• Prepare BOQ from layout drawing, material schedule along with procurement, and rate analysis for extra item for claiming variation.
C). Material Procurement:
• Follow up the Stock material with respect to total items required for ordering.
• Prepare & Release Purchase order for HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage items on the basis of Cost Comparison, material submittal & Shop drawings approval.
• Follow up the delivery of material at site & Payment issues.
