Lead a team responsible for the Procurement & Inventory Planning for the Parts department.
Ensure a fill rate greater than 85% for all parts by systematic forecasting and demand planning with historical data.
Meet the annual purchase target from Ford. (2018 - $16.1M)

Works closely with Sales team and assist with efforts to maximize sales through realigning the forecast to current trends.

Responsible of parts ordering and coordinating the procurement of Parts, components, supplies and services essential for the parts department.
Played a pivotal role in the setup of the Ford aftersales supply chain network in Kuwait when the dealership was taken over by Alghnaim in 2016.
Monitor stock coverage of all Parts including Batteries & Lubricants
Ensure the safety stocks are maintained to avoid any shortages.
Liaise with Ford Dubai office on a daily basis on critical parts not available issues
Conduct weekly ordering meeting which involves forecast stock cover, getting Operational inputs, obtaining approvals from Finance and placing order with Supplier.
New model launch planning for Parts and unique items.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is fully owned by the German Daimler AG. This company designs, manufactures, and sells commercial vehicles. These vehicles are branded as BharatBenz, Mercedes Benz and Fuso.
My Role:
Responsible for the planning and availability of all series parts imports as per material requirement dates, also ensuring supplier adherence to schedules.
Generate and analyze critical imported parts list as per production plan (MRP) and liaison with supplier managers in Germany, Brazil and Japan on daily basis for parts.
Packaging and transportation cost review, monitoring and improvement idea generation to reduce logistics cost.
Represented Supply chain and logistics team in CFT meeting for chassis, engine & warehousing projects.
Ensure the correctness of documentation (ASN/Schedules/Invoice/Pre-alerts)
Analyze requirements to check for schedule variations & new parts and take up with the various consolidation centers for abnormal variations, wrong releases, packaging issues etc to avoid over shipments, airfreights and obsolescence.
Inventory analysis to meet demand by optimum order with monthly safety stock review to minimize inventory cost.
Develop ordering strategies for parts based on lead time, maintain safety stocks & negotiate with suppliers on the non forecasted quantities due to immediate production requirements.
Tracking sea shipments in transit and prepare weekly KPI’s.
Handle all claims of rejected imported parts with respective CC’s (Claim Pool Management)
• Red table meeting adherence and line side issue adherence.
• Ensure claims are raised in system, and forward the same to the respective CC's
• Negotiate and provide all necessary details to convince the respective CC for accepting the claims.
