As Marketing Executive, I facilitated the company’s marketing campaigns both internally and externally and plays a key part in communicating the organizations marketing message.

• Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion.
• Write press releases and communicate with the media.
• Creating marketing campaigns and events. And working with the external PR agencies or the media houses to see them executed, within the agreed budget and timescales.
• Overseeing and monitoring the Social Media, responsible for guiding the online behavior of the public. Executing (and possibly creating) a marketing strategy that involves getting members of the public to answer back, re-share or re-Tweet your content (so it goes viral), and provide with information to improve service and drive sales.
• Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate with the existing customers.
• Developing and implementing an internal marketing program.
• Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters.
• Devise and organize a calendar of marketing events and represent the organization at events.
• Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels. Oversee and update the website(s).
• Weighs in on important decisions involving product advertising, packaging and branding.
• Maintains the department's budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective.
• Works with other company officers to establish budgets and marketing objectives.
• Monitors marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.

My responsibilities included PR work for setting up interviews with the CEO’s of the top companies
in Oman to be included in the magazine. This involved networking, scheduling meetings,
working with the magazine application online, subscribing CEO’s
and Chairman of the companies interviewed to newsletters. Skills
which I gained during my work here included data entry, presentation
skills, team management and dealing with human resources.
