Work as Field Executive in Refinery Off Gas Cracker Plant for Ethylene Production
Plant Operation
Hot section in 1460 KTA Ethylene Cracker -Refinery off gas cracker (ROGC), Jamnagar.
•Looking after safe operation and troubleshooting for all rotating equipment like pumps including cryogenic pumps, turbo expander- compressors and static equipment like distillation columns, cold box and core-exchangers.
•Involved in commissioning, safe start up and shutdown of the plant particularly for ROGC Hot section consisting of Gas Drayers, Condensate Drayers, Distillation column and Reactors.
•Handled activities like Column and equipment decontamination, pump handover and overhauling, exchanger overhauling during shutdown as well as in normal operation.
•Maintained high housekeeping standards, identified and reported unsafe and hazardous conditions, facilitated safe working by ensuring implementation of preventive and protective measures and use of fire fighting and safety equipment.
•Was responsible for execution and control of work permits to ensure safety at various job sites.
•Ensuring strict compliance of HSEF procedures through Work Permit System.
•Carrying out in-site Risk Analysis for each & every non routine and routine activities involved in Work Permit system.
•Supervising the jobs related to all equipment and monitor & ensure their performance for optimum & safe operation.
•Maintaining field instrument or local measurement in log and update check-lists as required.
•Participated in construction activities like iso checking, loop preparation for hydro test, mechanical completion checking for cryogenic section.
•Participated in precommisioning activities like card board blasting, air blowing, target blowing, chemical cleaning, dry out and inertisation and preservation of lines/equipment in Cryogenic section
(2.6 Year Experience).
