Here I am suppose to procure materials at the cheapest rate from the market and make it available for supply to customers as per their requirement.
Responsible for handling Different types of Rubber Parts, Raw Materials like Polypropylene, other foam raw materials, different types of wax and glues, other metal parts, leather materials, all stationery items, IT related items, Freight Forwarding for Import Items (including Duty Payment) etc. Responsible for working closely with the selected supplier and managing the company’s procurement activities. Also providing leadership for the purchasing department and motivating staff to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. Making sure that the purchasing department works within all of the companies Operational Procedures. Taking care of import items, monitoring duty payment on time and coordinating with forwarder regarding documents and timely shipment of material in order to avoid delay in production activities. Also developing new supplier time-to-time for cost reduction and improvement in quality. Aware of processes involved in RFQ & Comparison Statement. Basic understanding of ISO/TS 16949 and awareness of PPAP documentations.
Responsible for handling All property related procurement, materials required for tenants and for the interior designing and decoration of the house, household items etc. Solely responsible for purchase of all the items required for houses and providing proper and timely service to all tenants.
Have gained both technical experience and developed managerial decision making skills while working in the organisation.
I have gathered experience in preventive and predictive maintenance of different types of equipment like diesel generators, compressors, driers, different pumps, Bottle inspection machines along with continuous process industrial scenario dealing with equipment such as over-head chain conveyor, different types of blowers, single liner, annealing lehr, packing machines where regular preventive maintenance had been carried out under my supervision.
• Had to look over breakdown maintenance and modification jobs as and when required and maintain spare parts of all the equipment. Had to manage a team of 48 workers, working in the team as well as Shift-supervisors.Had to prepare regular reports on Breakdown, and analyze them thoroughly for future improvements (Fishbone analysis, why-why analysis).Maintained the entire stock of spare-parts and had to communicate to the purchasing Department about the Quality and Longevity of the spares supplied. Cooperated and communicated with other departments in the plant in order to carry out maintenance activities. Conducted meetings with Supply-Vendors (Service Providers) and discussed and implemented new technologies and techniques in the Plant as well as developed new ideas for improvement.
• End-user experience in SAP (PM Module) along with MS Office and thorough computer knowledge.
