• AWD 3302 Advanced Writing in the Technical Professions

• Assist the Director with all matters pertaining to the Writing Program
• Attend all meetings of the Writing Program Directors and Writing
Program Committee and works with the directors and committee on
all matters under their purview, including writing program policies,
faculty development, curriculum, assessment, and other pedagogical
issues for all required writing courses and for the Writing Center.
• Facilitate a range of efforts, such as collecting and analyzing data,
coordinating peer instructor visits, development and maintenance of
Writing Program Instructor Sourcebook and the Writing Program
website.
• Develop a range of events from panels to speaker invitations on the
theme of grading and assessment with a particular awareness towards
DEIB.

• Oversee the production of the 14th issue of the journal with an
undergraduate editorial board of 10-12 students.
• Produce the 2022-2023 issue: Voyages.

• Manage staffing schedule and hiring writing consultants and outreach
coordinator.
• First point of contact for all inquiries about Writing Center services
and consultant issues.
• Directed a committee in the revision and rewriting of the Writing
Center mission statement.
• Attend all Writing Program Directors meetings and Writing Program
Committee meetings.
• Plan and facilitate monthly staff trainings and workshops (e.g.,
multilingualism, linguistic justice, disability in the writing center,
technical and scientific writing, decolonizing the writing center).
• Plan university and community-wide events related to writing
(National Day on Writing; One Day, One Goal; Boston Housing
Authority Youth Rise).

• Conduct online peer-review sessions with students and Northeastern
community members seeking to improve their writing and their
writing skills.
• Attend Writing Center trainings and professional development
workshops.

• English editor for the literature and arts section of the newspaper and
occasional contributor.

• Conduct one-on-one or group review sessions for students and
university members seeking to develop their English language and
writing skills.
