In Larsen & Toubro Infotech, we developed / maintained a Data Driven Business
Intelligence System for Nets A/S. We created data lake from all data sources to
get meaningful insights for merchants of Nets. This helped sales team of Nets to
retain merchants of Nets by providing useful schemes based on data insight. The
system was built using Big Data / Hadoop / Hortonworks /Java / Scala / Spark.
Responsibilities
Analysis and requirement gathering for Merchant Services.
Design & development of data lake for all sources of Merchant Services.
Created High-level and Low-level designs from user requirements.
Setting up multi node Hadoop Cluster on Hortonworks Platform.
Design and develop Continuous Integration using GIT Bitbucket, Jenkins,
JIRA, Confluence.
Design and develop scalable data processing platform using Spark, Hadoop
Ecosystem /Java / Scala.
Monitor and manage comprehensive data security across the Hadoop
platform using Apache Ranger. Data Governance services implementation
using Apache Atlas.
Built awareness of emerging technologies and practices to further enhance
and/or build teams technical expertise.
In Capgemini, we developed CITI Credit Card reward point calculation system
for Epsilon and CITI Bank NA (USA) using Java /Java EE/Oracle Database /
Hadoop / Big Data.
Responsibilities
Coding in Java for Hadoop / Hive and REST / SOAP Web Services for third
party merchants.
Unix shell scripting for Hive / Impala / Sqoop execution on Hadoop.
Set up multi node Hadoop cluster on Cloudera. Implemented workflow
scheduling system on Hadoop using Oozie.
Architect, designed and built systems in cloud using AWS. Cloud computing
using AWS EMR. AWS EC2, AWS S3.
Designed and developed IT system using JIRA / Agile development.
