Job Profile: Regular inspection of welfare facilities and equipments.
• Ensuring maximum and effective protection on personnel, assets, equipment, visitors and environment.
• Attend the weekly meeting and walk through and observation closeout report with follow up.
• Ensure all Permits to excavate checked and monitor to comply with the procedure prior any excavation work.
• Oversee all activities and subcontractors in my section and directly report to HSE Manager
• Ensure safe system of work for micro tunneling activities and implementation of permit to work system. (Lifting operation/Confined space/excavation/ plant movement, / access and egress into the shaft/ work at height).
• Supervision of activities in the shaft area and ensure that all the equipment have valid third party certificate (tunnel boring machine).
• Ensure gas monitoring and log update and emergency preparedness in tunnel.
• Involved in Incident investigations and follow up for corrective and preventive measures to stop the recurrence Tracking, elimination and management of observed workplace hazards.
• Ensure all plant and equipment are inspected and passed prior to work in the site.
• Conduct weekly safety meeting with all workers.
• Review risk assessment if there is introduction of new activities or if accident occur to put the necessary precaution in place.
• Ensure full compliance for Health and Safety on site.
