• Manage the company’s R&D, Technical Support and Manufacturing functions to meet budgeted financial performance
• Lead the design team for new product developments such as; Façade system, Door system, window system, industrial system, etc.
• Oversee and co-ordinate production of Aluminum products and ERP software
• Manage the generation and preservation of Company Intellectual Property, including archiving/storage of designs, documentation of know-how, preparation of patent applications and general maintenance of the company’s IP portfolio.
• Provide product support and other technical support to operational functions in the most efficient manner for all concerned
• Maintain a clear view at all times of the R&D and Technical Support past and forecast technical and financial performance (both deliverables and spend)
• Improve the effectiveness of the Company’s internal systems; increasing efficiency and reducing administrative overhead
• Attract, retain and motivate people to improve the company’s performance
• Report regularly on key aspects of the business, in accordance with routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements
• Provide relevant technical information to Operations staff to enable proper operation.
• Provide efficient planning for Tool shop and production departments.
Aluminum Extrusion Plant supervisory and operational in-charge: Departments
Under my supervision: Technical, Die shop, Production, planning, packaging, powder coating supply chain and quality.
•Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, material and capital.
•Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers' expectations.
•Establish team and individual accountability throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and adhoc basis, depending on need.
Design:
•Technical Design, 2D and 3D, using AutoCAD, Inventor component analysis for both architectural and industrial aluminum system.
•Aluminum Structural, industrial and Architectural system design
Aluminum Façade system
Aluminum Window System-Thermal and cold system
Aluminum Door system- Thermal and cold system
•Aluminum profile design/datasheet preparation, cavity, tooling, run out, viability and productivity analysis.
IT consultant:
•Database administrator and Programmer (Supply, Extrusion, powder coating and logistics database)
• Network Administrator (Windows 2008 server administrator)
Steel structure design, Furniture, interior and store/show room design. Network admin, computer and printer maintenance.
Design Products based on standard design Procedure. mold design, cavity/core and mold plates...jig design. provide drawing for fabrication process. Tool and die design for high volume manufacturing.
