Preparation of feasibility studies and project reports for financing. End to end project finance cycle.
Liaising with banks and Financial Institutions for Long Term funds for projects, Working capital funds and
Private Equity placement.
Drive financial planning for the short, medium and long term working closely with the Leadership Team,
Business Unit Heads and the CFO.
Oversee the consolidation and analysis of data for business planning and forecasting.
Undertake budgeting and target setting for the organization in line with the annual business plan.
Oversee maintenance of budgetary control.
Monthly variance reporting and reporting of any issues, risks & opportunities, Flash reporting (premonth
end estimates of expenses).
Performing analytical review of Monthly financial operations giving highlights of projects & SBU/BU KPI's.
Oversee the design of financial models/ packages for overall as well as product line profitability analysis
Assist Commercial Department in pricing, control and contract negotiations.
Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity and short term sustainability of the company and take
necessary measures to minimize cash conversion cycle and ensure availability of working capital.
Manage treasury operations to ensure organization funds are leveraged for maximum returns and for
meeting organization requirements.
Financial Modeling, ratio analysis, project finance and project appraisal.
Preparing project feasibility reports and information memorandums and applying to Banks, Financial
Institutions, Private Equity and achieving Financial Closures for projects / debt syndication.
Fulfilling pre and post disbursement conditions. Updating lenders about various project milestones.
Project cost budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Assist treasury management.
Support variance analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance of revenue and
expenditures to determine key drivers impacting company’s P&Ls - Financial Planning and Analysis.
Collaborate with Consultants, operational team and technical consultants.
Strategic financial management to meet company objectives.
Responsible for credit rating assignments.
Documentation, compliance and security creation.
Build & maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, investment bankers, etc.
Participating in budget discussion and support scenario building / simulation modeling.
• End to end Project financing (financial modeling, CMA, documentation, compliance, etc.) 40MW of Solar PV project.
• Solar Power sector analysis and competitor benchmarking.
• Discussions with Private Equity players for equity infusion.
• Keeping track of various regulatory issues and solar policies announced by state / central govt.
• Dealing and negotiating with Power Traders/ utilities for finalizing power purchase agreement (PPA).
• Support Financial Planning & Analysis - Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance analysis.
• Track actual vs. planned/budgeted and initiate remedial actions.
• Achieved financial closure of Rs 10, 000 crs through debt syndication from consortium of 18 banks for 3300 MW Thermal Power Project.
• Security creation and liaison with authorities under various statutes for compliances.
• Ensuring timely draw downs / disbursements of fund & non fund based loan limits and cash flow management.
• Pre and post disbursement compliance. Solving lender’s queries and providing statutory financial statements as and when required.
• Issue of trade finance elements LC and BG.
• Assist treasury management and MIS.
• Handling data requirement & regular communication with rating agencies.
• Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews / presentations with key highlights.
• Research, track and analyze Power sector. Study equity research and macro economic reports.
• Update the financial data, news, risk assessment and sector changes to investment officer.
• Perform financial valuation modeling and thus identifying investment worthiness of companies.
