Key Deliverables:
(1)Functioning as area in-charge of the Raw &Production consumable &spare/Engineering Store/warehouse & raw & bulk material handling operation by conveyors and responsible for the seamless supply of raw materials to the steel melting plant by Supply chain Mgmt+Logistic operation +Material/Inventory Mgmt. by Sap-mm.
(2)Planning, directing and administering all aspects of the company warehouse, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies.
(3)Monitoring and inspecting all the quality of goods received at the warehouse and ensure that quality is as per the norms and return the damage goods to the suppliers.
(4)Preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
(5)Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions

(6)Controlling and monitoring warehouse activity and resolve issues related to space or warehouse management.
(7)Performing quarterly inventory analysis on warehouse facilities, maintaining warehouse inventory and producing reports.
(8)Responsible for handling month closing activities and physical stock confirmations of all PRCM materials like Ferro alloy, Micro alloy, misc and Refractory items.
(9)Performing reconciliation process for all production consumables in SAP with physical stock.
(10)Coordinating with Procurement team for settlement of all defective or non-complaint goods received.
(11)Handling logistics planning, cutting any waste and unnecessary cost to create and streamlining process.
(12)Planning and scheduling maintenance and shutdown for all Store & material handling heavy equipment.
(13)Ensuring the enforcements of all store procedures and practices ensuring compliance with company, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements.
(14)Striving to improve and develop business performance continuously within the constraints of legislation, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures.
(15)Checking Inventory holdings by generating reports on regular intervals and co-ordinating with different functions including procurement, CFA, Transport and Import.
(16)Responsible for the handling audits (Internal, External, Local and Regional).
(17)Overseeing billing, review and verify vendor bills and certification.
(18)Monitoring material supply to shop floors (MF system and Manual Movements).
(19)Managing all SAP related activities for MM module such as BOM updating, Raising PR, Service entry, Tracking PO, Inventory modeling, etc.
(20)Identifying training requirements and arranging for training at various sites/location of the company in India.
(21)Responsible for the EHS at work site, conducting departmental safety meetings and ensuring all compliance to health and safety regulations

(22)Arranging and planning resources i.e man power and equipment to maintain the supply chain activity during breakdowns.
(23)Planning and managing disposal of waste generated in the SMS shop.
(24)Championing the practice and implementation of SGA, Kaizen, QC, LEAN CTR, POKE YOKE and FMEA on shop floor.
