Reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the company and leads the company’s projects in L&T Shipbuilding and the company’s estimation department.
Checking the tenders prepared by Estimators and preparing tenders.
Preparation of detailed/accurate estimates for bidding in new construction and repair work for all types of vessels and offshore structures.
Discussion of the technical and commercial details with the representative (s) of the Owners and negotiation and settlement of the invoice.
Discussion of the technical and commercial details and negotiation of prices with the Owner/Yard and subcontractors.
Operations In-Charge of the companies projects in Larsen and Toubro Ship Building, Chennai site having a work force of 9 engineers and 120 working professionals in commercial and defense projects.
Managing projects from start up to delivery.
Plan, schedule, sequence and prioritize resources across multiple concurrent projects to ensure completion of all jobs on time, within budgets meeting requirements.
Coordinate with clients through the project lifecycle resolving issues and maintaining targeted progress
Implement systems for monitoring productivity of all stages from machining to delivery.
Identify opportunities for improving productivity & reducing costs
Working as HVAC and Accommodation Engineer
