Leading the in-house & distribution supply chain teams.
Developing SOPs for Supply Chain.
Designing the Supply chain strategies according to the international
standards.
Creating a procurement plan which includes, appointing of the
vendors, vendor assessments & training.
Appointing 3PL agents and other third parties for smooth
movement of the shipments.
Designing installing & operating of the warehouses as per tailor
made requirement.
Appointing of staffs as per vacancy requirement.
Training staffs.
Coordinate All Inbound Shipment to Site with HQ Logistics for all Material from Factories and Local Market with highest industry & HSE standard.
Responsible for Planning Inbound Shipments in accordance to master site plan done by Project Director and in-line with Installation Program.
Coordinate the booking for all MHE requirements at site including outsourced helpers/ labors needed for horizontal and vertical movement of material in the site.
Responsible for keeping inventory for all inbound material to site, manage the storage facility on or off-site and do regular stock take to target zero lost or damaged material at site.
Generate weekly reports for LOG activities to be submitted to Project Director and Area SCM & Logistics Team.
Coordinate all activities, report and flow of data between HQ SCM / Purchasing & Logistics and site managers.
Responsible for doing all GR "Good Receipts" for all inbound Material & Services to Site in close coordination with Project Manager and office-based Purchasing and Logistics Team.
Coordination with all 3PLs providing trucks, MHE and shipments to Site.
Responsible to Keep track of Project budget on Logistics Cost and Improve the costs by optimization with SCM team at office.
In-Charge of the Site warehouse.
Claims Management.
Site Procurement & Vendor Management.
Managing the Import & Export shipments.
Ensure right goods are delivered or received at right location on time.
Negotiate freights to different locations by Air/Sea/Land to ensure competitiveness.
Customs clearance.
Managing supply stores using standard computer programs including the items (Handling, storage, packaging, preservation, Safety (MSDS) & delivery) according to most updated techniques.
Inventory Management and decisions regarding materials; and review current stock level, rate of consumption, expiry date, lead time and cost of these items.
Monitor and check on the availability of spare parts and material in the Warehouse and ensure maintaining proper stocking levels.
Using WMS.
RM for South Region - Kerala, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu.
Day to day monitoring of the operational activities.
In-charge of the Regional Warehouse located in Bangalore & sub warehouses.
Manage staffing levels to meet volumes and productivity KPI's
Analysis of market intelligence & competitors and briefing the company about competitors.
Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for the team.
Deliver team performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as required
Submitting accurately and timely reports and presentations to the Directors.
Products Handled - Import & Export Courier & Import & Export Freight.
Developing and implementing required procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency in courier service
Cost control, overall responsibility for budgetary deliverables in courier operations.
Ensuring that operational procedures are in place to ensure safe collection and dispatch of customer’s items and maintenance of data and records.
Ensuring service levels in terms of delivery and collection are met through monitoring of service levels returns
Ensuring proper resource utilization and rationalization including human resource and fleet
Products Handled - Import & Export Courier & Life Science.
In-Charge of Kerala and Rest of TN.
Taking care of the Key accounts, the main percentage of total revenue.
Source new accounts as per given criteria.
Handholding with the customers for a better relationship.
Be an associate in the customers business.
Team management
In-Charge of the Territory- Part of Cochin, Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Tirchur.
Source new accounts.
To bring in more revenue from the Territory.
Keep up the relationship with the clients.
Responsible for control over proper credit and collection.
Maintaining the relationship among the vendors and ensure smooth functioning of entire Operations in Kerala to give the Customer a World Class Shipping Experience.
Support to the Territory Sales of 3 locations.
Generate reports and MIS as per requirement.
Pull out the reports from COMET on Sales activities of the Managers
Assist the Area Sales Manager
Understanding of the Competition and providing reports to manager about market awareness.
Responsible for revenue generation from retail customers
Service Walk-in customers in the retail outlet.
Generate maximum conversion of footfalls adhering to service standards of DHL.
Maintain a Foot-fall database and manage the same
Exposed to operational functionalities of Express business
Technical Know how of day-to-day operations.
