1) Installation & Testing of new 33, 132, and 300 KV Oil-filled/XLPE cables circuits (Excavation, Cable Laying, Jointing and Backfilling). All works are done as per MEW standards and specifications.
2) Repairing of existing 33, 132, 300 KV Oil-Filled cables, 34 core Pilot cables, Oil-feeding Systems, Pressure Gauges, Sealing ends & Transformer Terminations.
3) Testing & Fault Location in underground Telemetry cables by Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR), Surge Generators, and Burn Units.
4) Preparing work progress reports, Time schedules, Cost Estimations, Resource allocation required for the work.
5) Have successfully passed the safety Work Permit Authorization tests conducted by the SHE team of petroleum companies and held a Work Permit Authorization card issued by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) & Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC).
6)Have adequate knowledge in obtaining work permit systems when working in hazardous areas.
1) Worked as a part time QA/QC Engineer with majority of work involved in Scheme Checking & Functional Testing for LT panels (400VAC).
2) Also obtained an idea in the testing procedures and the steps involved in electrical control panel manufacturing process.
1) Configuing and Testing the NUMERICAL RELAYS of both ABB & SIEMENS make.
2) Testing of Current Transformers, Voltage Transformers & Circuit Breakers.
3) Testing of Control & Relay Panels, Low Voltage Panels
a) Scheme Checking (AREVA, ABB, SIEMENS, etc)
b) DC Logics Checking
c) Electrical and Mechanical Interlocks Checking
