As a Country Head of security & Admin my responsibilities includes:

• Acts as an advisor to the CEO/Group Security head on admin and security related issues.
• Plan and implement company’s general administration and security policies
• Plan protection of PUMA Energy Pakistan assets and controlling security breaches at strategic level.
• Conducts quarterly reviews of Agency properties as assigned by supervisor to ensure compliance with PUMA Energy Pakistan Uniform and Life Safety Code, and Agency rules and regulations.
• Develop and implement security policies, prepare strategies for handling normal / emergency situations and define roles and responsibilities for concerned staff.
• Ensure that approved policy, rules and procedures covering security are distributed to the management at each location and acknowledgement obtained.
• Contribute to the management of security budget including procurement planning to support efficient and cost effective resources management.
• Ensure effective security control throughout PUMA Energy Pakistan.
• Implementation of control measures for smooth functioning of security operations
• Exercise functional control over PUMA Energy Pakistan security staff
• Supervise PUMA Energy Pakistan’s offices, retails outlets and oil storage terminals security throughout the country
• Security audit of company head office and regional offices
• Liaison and coordination with the Intelligence and law enforcement agencies
• Security planning and crisis management
• Travel modalities and evacuation plan for the foreigner visits
• Conduct and Supervise the emergency evacuation drills
• Security audit of Private security companies for provision of security guarding services and personal security (body) guard for expats
• Organize foreigners visit to PUMA Energy Pakistan and its projects
• Responsible for management of security equipment to ensure it is issued correctly, is in serviceable condition and is in compliance with the established security standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Human Resources Unit regarding a range of security staffing matters (e.g. recruitment, contract management, capacity building), to ensure compliance with the established PUMA policies and procedures.
• Collect information about local security developments, issues and provide technical analysis on the potential impact upon company operations to support security and operational activities.
• Prepare comprehensive, accurate and timely security-related reports including recommendations to support informed decision-making and consistency of information presented to the senior managers and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate training sessions as required to build the security.

Under the overall supervision of the Chief Security Adviser (CSA), Security (SA) or the Field Security Coordination Officer (FSCO), the Local Security Assistant assists in the implementation of security operations and all matters relating to the management of safety and security for UN personnel in the country or in the region of assignment also Assists the CSA/SA/FSCO in collecting, updating and communicating information regarding the security situation in the country;

- Liaises and coordinates, as appropriate, with the host government security organizations and /or personnel, including national and local provincial authorities, military, and police officers, as well as non-governmental organizations and other non-State actors in the area of operation;
- Helps to assess the security situation at the duty station and ensures adequate gathering and verification of security information that may be required for a proper analysis of the situation by the CSA/SA/FSCO;
- Communicates information on security to the heads of United Nations agencies and provides host country security advice to UNDSS in the absence of the SA, as required;
- Maintains regular contacts with Security Focal Points of UN agencies;
- May be requested to provide technical assistance at SMT meetings, in the absence of the CSA/SA/FSCO.

Assists in maintaining the Security Plan, including updating staff lists;
- Helps in the preparation and review of the UN Security Plan;
- Supports actions during the implementation of the Security Plan, as required.

- Assists the CSA/SA/FSCO in monitoring compliance with Minimum Operational Security Standards (MOSS) established for the duty station. Also assists with the compilation of data required for the MOSS Self-Assessment Program

- Assists in reporting security incidents affecting UN staff, offices and assets, and assists in the preparation of security reports, such as the Security Incident Reports, the Security Assessments.
