1. Project : STC IP MPLS on Customer Edge, Provider Edge & Edge
Roles and Responsibilities
• Configuring and Troubleshooting BGP on Cisco & Huawei routers on both service provider & customer end (private enterprises, Banks and ministries) to provide 2 & 3 VPN services.
• Providing level 2 support for Huawei IPMPLS projects on routers acting as PE & NPE.
• Configure & troubleshoot ISIS, Traffic Engineering, MPLS & MPLS FRR and make sure that labeling traffic are forwarded across MPLS cloud
• Monitoring network traffic, and activity, capacity and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance through Network Monitoring System U2000 & CIC
• Handling customer Trouble Tickets & Service requests
• Responsible for Configuring, testing & integrating new network services & multi vendors
• Responsible to provide technical support & technical training to site engineer and NOC (Network operation Center) team
2. Project : STC IP/MPLS HRTPE’s
Roles and Responsibilities
• Configure OSPF with Mobile BSC/ RNC routers to provide reach ability other mobile nodes(BTS)
• Forward labeling traffic towards CRS (Cisco XR routers)
• RNC/BSC connected to HRTPE reach to other RNC/BSC
• Traffic shift from one device to other during packet drop and error to avoid from packet drop
Roles and Responsibilities
• Configuring Cisco 2811 Router, Cisco 3500 Multilayer Switches, Cisco 2960 Switches to connect
Service provider network to provide us layer 3 service as CE
• Configure VLANs between (Switches 3560, 2960) and DHCP server to provide IP to computer
system from the pool.
• Optimized performance of the WAN network by Configuring of HSRP to provide Redundancy
and reliability of the network.
• Configure the Distribute list to filter the EIGRP routes.
• Troubleshooting of personal computers. On line Support to customers concerning
• Regular monitoring of systems and applying upgrades as required also Troubleshoot internet
Connectivity problem (Ethernet)
• Installed and configured workstations for IP based LAN’s
• Configured Cisco Routers (2600, 2800) using EIGRP and OSPF
• Configure Cisco Switches (3560 2900)
• Installed and configured workstations for IP based LAN’s
• Installed and configured DHCP Client/Server
• Provide hardware, software and network support to 200 plus users.
• Provide network connections for new workstations.
