Develop and execute strategies to ensure robust Material Quality Management for all raw materials purchased across Mars Wrigley factories in GEM (Brazil, Mexico, Africa, Middle East, India, Far East and Australia)
Provide leadership and direction to a regional leads. Use effective leadership skills to develop a High Performing SQA Team and drive associate engagement.
Provide leadership to cross-functional business partners for creation and implementation of effective Supplier Relationship Management strategies.
Develop and ensure execution of strategies that improve the agility and reliability of the supply base in support of ongoing supplier and material management, new product launches and line extensions.
Proactively work with strategic suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement ideas and technology which ultimately leads to supplier engagement and competitive advantage.
Measure and drive improvements to Supplier Total Conformance Index (TCI) and other SQA metrics in GEM through the regional SQA leads, through metrics tracking and reporting.
Responsible for 100% implementation of all the sourcing standards - Material Quality Management, Packaging Quality Management, Premia Quality Management standards across Mars Wrigley Factories in GEM.
Develop talents by identifying the development opportunities of the team members and accordingly generate training programs to meet the requirements of the development plan of individual team members.
