• Cost Controller for Time Charter Vessel(Operating and Financial lease) and reporting as per IFRS 16.
• Performing each and every function from creating vendor, making purchase order’s to posting entries on SAP leading to final month-end closing function along with providing estimates before closing .
• Timely and accurately accounting for accruals/accruals release for various cost like insurance, arm guard, war risk, Stevedore, etc and eliminating Inter-company postings/plugs.
• Liaison with vendor’s and post-fixture team in Copenhagen, Denmark ensuring timely payments to various parties.
• Saved cost of around USD 10million across all brands (Maerskline, Seago, Sealand and MCC) by avoiding pre-payment of hire on redelivered vessels and hence reducing accruals.
• Working in close coordination with Bunker team providing correct details on various bunker stock (HFO, MDO, LSHFO, MGO, etc) on leased vessels.
• Smooth migration of Hamburg Sud(Takeover by Maersk) leased vessels accounting process remotely
Statutory Audit for listed banks in Kuwait. Clients handled- Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Mashreq Bank and Kuwait Danish Dairy.
Product Control division for Prime Desk Asian Entities.
* Production and Analysis (Flash to Actuals) of daily profit and loss for designated trading
books on a T+1 basis, predominantly bonds, futures, swaps over futures, interest rate and FX.
* Performing daily FOBO reconciliations.
* Explanation of large profit and loss swings, in terms of book risk positions, economic factors
and market conditions.
* Communication of the daily profit and loss results to product control management in
• Auditing of ledger, cash books, daybooks both in manual and computerized system.
• Prepared financial statements of different companies, proprietorships, partnership firms and trust
• Performed accounting and auditing functions relating to internal audit.
• Prepared reconciliation statements of banks, debtors, creditors, etc.
