Developing and maintaining thorough understanding of the requirements of
relevant Central Bank regulations, Ministry of Finance (MOF), Foreign Account
Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS)
requirements.
Drafting the Self-Certification forms relating to FATCA/CRS and Follow-up the
implementation of FATCA/CRS requirements within the bank.
Drafting the FATCA and CRS procedures.
Coordinating with Information Technology Dept. in developing FATCA system
(Inhouse sytem) to meet Business Requirements. In addition of testing required
criteria if it is in compliance with FATCA reporting requirements.
Coordinating with the External Auditors in reviewing & authenticating the
reportable accounts and issuing the FATCA/CRS compliance certificates
required by the MOF.
Undertaking compliance testing within the CB compliance program to ensure
that all concerned departments received the regulations issued by
CB/FATCA/CRS requirements & that these regulations are incorporated within
CBK policies and procedures.
Serving as a contact point within the bank for CB compliance queries from
HOD/Staff members.
Following up all violations and observation raised by External Auditors related to
FATCA/CRS and CB regulations to ensure that corrective action is made.
Responsible for coordinating and corresponding to the inspection per Review all
policies and procedures in the bank to ensure that they address all CB
regulations requirements.
Provided training to all newly recruited personnel within the bank.
Provide the required support and help to the bank’s departments.
