JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• To supervise and manage nursing services and personnel on assigned unit/ward to ensure quality client care.
• Provide direct patients care and responsible for rendering the nursing care plan from admission till discharged. Implement treatments and medication.
• Administrative, management and leadership skills to effectively organize and direct staff and services.
• To assess staff performance, needs and motivation.
• Supervises unit, co-staff and preceptor to newly hire staff during orientation period and make necessary evaluations, and affiliating students.
• Do ambulance conduction from hospital to hospital or medivac to hospital and vice versa.
• Implementing the nursing process with a minimum of assistance in implementing the NCP by utilizing problem solving, nursing judgement, critical thinking, competency in communication and technical skills.
• Do staff assigning to patients within the shift and for the next receiving shift.
• Ensures nursing is practice in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
• Ensures performance of nursing practice is in line with the facility, policies, procedures and standards.
