• Review tender documentation and identify the key elements of the proposal in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Carry out Pre Order Enquiry Design Calculations and weight estimation as per Client Specification for preparation of Commercial offers and preparation of Estimation Sheet for approval based on Design.
• Prepare MDS & GA drawings for Pressure vessels & Storage Tanks confirming to codes and standards during bidding stage for the client approval.
• After receiving Job Sheet, study the client datasheet, Applicable specification and standards.
• Attend KOM’s and MOM’s as and when project requires resolving engineering problems.
• Mechanical Design of equipment as per ASME Sec. VIII Div.1/ Div.2, UL 142, standard or as per client requirements by using PV-Elite, Compress & Manual Calculation.
• Checking of General arrangement, fabrication drawings of Pressure vessels, Storage Tanks etc. in accordance with Mechanical Design, Applicable Aramco specifications/standards.
• Subsequent follow up & discussion for drawing approval and technical queries.
• Prepare Material Purchase Technical Requirement (MPTR) and Purchase requisitions for Project Scope for procurement of raw materials & bought out items in line with code, End User & Licensor’s specifications.
• Prepare Bill of material and Prepare Bill of quantities and issuing purchase requests to suppliers.
• Review of G.A. & Detail Drawings, Bill of Materials, Internals Drawings, and Special bought out items by ensuring compliance to international codes /standards &as per contractual requirement.
• Coordinating with drafting team, sub-vendors and shop floor for smooth working of project.
• Estimate projects and prepare commercial and technical offers and subsequent follow up of status.
• Participate in the various audits like ASME U, R Stamp certification / recertification, ISO Audits, etc.

• Checking of General arrangement, fabrication drawings of Pressure vessels, Storage Tanks etc. in accordance with Mechanical Design, Applicable specifications/standards.
• Subsequent follow up & discussion for drawing approval and technical queries.
• Prepare Bill of material and Prepare Bill of quantities and issuing purchase requests to suppliers.
• Coordinating with drafting team, sub-vendors and shop floor for smooth working of project.
• Distribution of controlled copy drawings to workshop and site.
• Estimate projects and prepare commercial and technical offers and subsequent follow up of status.
• Providing assistance on all aspects of project execution to the Lead Engineer.
• Preparation of Material Requisitions and Request for Quotation for vendor offer.
• Technical Evaluation of vendor documents and Preparation of TQ and TBE for vendor offer.
• Participating in Kick off Meetings, reviewing the minutes and incorporating the same into further work in the project.
• Perform Mechanical strength calculation as and when required in Pvelite and Codecal.
• Weight Estimation for the equipment and Preparation of Nozzle setting plan for the equipment.
• Vendor Document Review for Process Equipment.
• Design Review of FEA reports per ASME Sec VIII Div.2 Part 5 for critical location in Equipment.
• Co-ordinates with team and other department for smooth execution of project.
• Interfacing with functional discipline to resolve technical issue.
• Resolving technical issues raised by vendor during fabrication.
• Study of Bid documents & man-hour estimation for proposal.
• Providing assistance to the Lead Engineer/ HOD for Departmental Audit.
• Review tender documentation and identify the key elements of the proposal in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Carry out Pre Order Enquiry Design Calculations by using PV-Elite as per ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 and TEMA or as per tender documentation.
• Preparation of Estimation Sheet for approval based on Design.
• Prepare MDS & guide drawings for Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Pressure vessels & Storage tanks confirming to codes and standards during bidding stage for the client approval.
• After receiving Work Order, study the client datasheet, Applicable specification and standard.
• Mechanical Design of equipment (Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns, etc.) as per ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 or as per client requirements by using PV-Elite, & Manual Calculation.
• Checking of General arrangement, fabrication and Internals drawings of Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns, etc. in accordance with Mechanical Design, Applicable specifications/standards.
• Subsequent follow up & discussion for drawing approval and technical queries.
• Attend KOM’s and MOM’s as and when project requires resolving engineering problems.
• Coordinating with drafting team, sub-vendors and shop floor.
• FEA Analysis of Nozzles on Critical Locations, where WRC Calculation is not permitted and needs for analysis by FEA as per ASME Sec VIII Div.2 Part 5.
• Projects Includes Desalter and Dehydrator package, Scrubber Vessel, Horizontal Gas Filter, Surge Vessel and Heat Exchangers and Tanks.
• Understanding of pressure vessel codes and standards.
• Learning of Design software’s for pressure vessel design.
• Pre Bid Design Calculations by using PV-Elite as per ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 & Div. 2, EN 13445, PD5500, and TEMA and Rectangular Tank Design by Roark’s Equation and Analysis on STAAD.
• Design and Preparation of GA for storage tanks as per API 650, underground as per UL-58 and above ground as per UL-142 code.
• Prepare GA drawings for, Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors & Storage tanks confirming to codes and standards during bidding stage for the client approval.
