Reporting to the CEO; I have been hired to re-structure the SETA (Smart Engineering Technology Application) Division responsible for all ICT infrastructure, and to develop the division’s processes and procedures. Major roles and responsibilities included the following:
1. Drastically transformed the division from a multimillion $ revenue generating division.
2. Put a new and solid division organizational structure; it grew from 30 employees to 100 employees, delivering state of the art integrated solutions and projects.
3. With strong technical, commercial, administrable and financial experience I have Controlled three functional and two supporting departments:
a. IUC; Infrastructure & Unified Communications Department. Responsible for Passive Components, Networking, IPTV, Wireless, and Data Security.
b. SMS; Smart Multimedia Solutions Department: Offering Audio/ Visual, Video Conferencing, and Integrated Control Systems.
c. IBS; Integrated Building Solutions: offering BMS, Intrusion Detection Systems, CCTV, Access Control Systems, and Asset Tracking Systems.
d. Sales Department Team: All sales activities; opportunities evaluations and filtering, sales proposals and P&L preparation, Client Presentations and solution offerings.
e. Project management Team: Project Delivery on time and on Budget.
4. Controlled the Division’s full project Delivery Cycle from Sales efforts coordination and Pre-sales design documents, to Professional Services coordination works and project Management.
5. Introduced and implemented a performance Evaluation System to Enhance Division Productivity, reward the achievers and engage the low performance employees.
Hired to develop Master ICT Specifications for Technology Integration to IBS, CCTV, AV, and Facilities Management System.
• Prepare Concept designs and Reports for the client
• Structured Cabling: Design of complete fiber backbone and copper/fiber horizontal sub system structured cabling solution to support data networking LAN, WAN and Wireless LAN.
• PBX Voice / Telecommunications: Complete PABX / VoIP, DSL, CRM, Telephony solution and billing systems
• Data Networking: specification of complete Active Network components including Firewalls, Routers, Core & Edge Switching. LAN and WAN. Data Centre requirements. HSIA (High Speed Internet Access)
• BMS, CCTV, AV design and specification concept report, and specification development.
Hired as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager to manage and create BMS (Building Management Systems) customer value-chain.
•Controlled high profile client requirements and Project life-cycle.
•Built high level Business Plans and Financial Models for strategic IBS integrated Added-Value services Portfolio approach.
•Performed Presentations, needs assessment, design, RFP and specification proposals tendering, Supervision and Quality control for clients IBS requirements through a value proposition and customer-centric approach.
Performed the following
1-Worked as a Senior Consultant and a Subject Matter Expert (SME), where I successfully managed and supervised multiple and complex ICT and IBS Infrastructure Projects in the work frame of PMI, as per the following:
-Met with clients to determine project requirements through needs assessment, and Gap Analysis.
-Worked as a liaison for multi-staged projects where I coordinated tasks and responsibilities between peers and higher management.
-Worked as a senior project manager and had the holistic responsibility of overseeing day-to-day activities, including staff coordination, budget management, and overall coordination to achieve client and projects goals within budget limits.
-Performed Time management exercises to deliver within the project Timeframe while keeping the boundaries of project milestones and goals.
-Vast Knowledge and experience in PERT and GANTT management approaches and tools deployment and control.
2-Experience in ICT, IBS, and MEP, in tendering process; Assessed, budgeted, designed, tendered, Evaluated and implemented sensitive, and highly scalable quality/cost effective solutions of:
-Converged IT Solutions and Intelligent Building Management Systems (IBS), in the work frame of:
-Environmental Controls: Lighting and Electrical Systems
-Facility Management: BAS, energy, UPS, and HVAC, Security: CCTV, access control, Telecommunication: PABX, Data Networks, LAN, WAN.
Hired to bring the existing ICT Infrastructure to fully expandable, reliable, and service-oriented Infrastructure.
• Proven track of infrastructure delivery; lead teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, and skilled in job structuring and resource allocation under tight budgetary controls, by:
o Understanding the Scope of works and technical specification of the projects
o Experience in evaluating the budget for Engineering works and cash flow & revenue forecast.
o Attending meetings and discussion with the Consultants, Clients and interface contractors.
o Coordinating with suppliers and sub-contractors
o Identifying and devolving new suppliers & sub-contractors
o Training to clients and users on the system and ensuring the proper hand-over

• Completely restructured and upgraded the whole ICT infrastructure of Cabling, Telecommunication, and Networking, from basic service-available to highly advanced, proactive, reliable and up-to-standards infrastructure.
• Set the long term main guidelines of Infrastructure implementation and design baselines of Active Components design, with full documentation and change management processes.
• Successfully located, evaluated and qualified the best contract manufacturers in the industry, consistently meeting all regulatory and corporate specifications.
• Demonstrated technical know-how and hands-on-Experience in implementing large scale networks; configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Nortel Networks Switch, VOIP, IP Telephony, Wireless and Router Devices, AVAYA PABX Telecommunication Systems.
• Maintained a 24/7 network System with the highest quality of service to clients.
• Educated and trained the basics of Computer Networks and Internet Services; for more than 50 students over a 3 year period.
Hired to Supervise Technical staff and operations for ICT infrastructure for the clients; main responsibilities included:
• Experience in Technology and IT operations Management, Project Life Cycle Management: Business Development and Planning, Procurements Decisions, RFP, Evaluation, Vendor Relationship Management, SLA, and Vendor control.
• Expertise in IT Infrastructure Design and Implementation; project management, and budgeting for: Networking, Telecommunication ICT Infrastructure Systems, including: Building Management and Intelligent Systems (BMS, IBS), and ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control Systems).
