Design and execution of in house Interior design projects like new offices, villas, residences of directors etc. Up-gradation and refurbishment of company offices in UAE. Maintenance of company assets.
Heading design department comprising 15 designers / 3D visualisers / draftspersons in Dubai and Mumbai offices.
Responsible for creating design concepts, presentations and moodboards, and presenting the same to prospective clients.
Winning projects.
Timely creation of accurate good for construction drawings for production and project departments.
Liaising with procurement and estimation departments on an ongoing basis.
Responding to RFIs from internal departments as well as vendors and contractors.
Creation of As built drawings and handover manuals
• Meeting prospective clients, obtaining clear design brief
• Creating space plan and design concept
• Creating design presentation & mood boards
• Finalisation of design concept
• Preparing Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials
• Obtaining necessary approvals from Statutory Authorities (DM/DCD/Trakhees/TECOM etc)
• Creating GFC drawings and details
• Appointing and co-ordinating with contractors
• Co-ordination with service consultants
• Monitoring activity at site including Quality Audits and Statutory Compliances
• Co-ordination with project execution, procurement and finance departments for seamless work at site
• Mentoring a team of 3 designers, 1 draftsman, 1 3D visualiser & 1 Quantity Surveyor
• Mentoring Business Development executives
• Supervise virtual handover of project with testing/commissioning of equipment
• Creating conceptual designs in co-ordination with clients
• Finalising of design and working drawings
• Preparing Bill of quantities & Bill of materials
• Initiating and completing tendering process
• Appointing and co-ordinating with contractors
