My role is to innovative, strategic and operational leadership that leverages best practices and models to implement the most effective teaching and learning strategies to consistently increase student success, as well as engaging in applied and fundamental research and development initiatives within the ICT domain. This includes presenting lectures to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in research and development initiatives at institutional and personal level, Developed and provided update to teaching strategies and lesson plans, Coordinated with instructors and ensured compliance to approved lesson plans, participation in instructional strategy operationalization, and contributing in curriculum and instructional developments.
I am currently an external research supervisor responsible for postgraduate supervision in the field of ICT; this includes teaching and learning, research workshops, and involvement in operational research projects. I am providing guidance on Masters and Doctoral students as research supervisor for various topics within the Information Systems domain. I am also presented lectures to senior students, engage in research, and other teaching activities for development in the fields of: ICT governance, Information Security, Cybersecurity, ICT for development, Cloud Computing, Systems Development Methodologies, Agile Methodologies, Health Informatics
I am responsible for postgraduate supervision in the field of Information Technology Management. This includes teaching and learning, research workshops, and involvement in operational research projects within these niche
areas: ICT governance, Cybersecurity, ICT for development, e-governance policy and strategy development, and Cloud Computing policy development.
I provided strategic, technical, and operational management and leadership on a variety of projects and themes in the Information security and Cyber Security. My mandate was to grow the cybersecurity business portfolio and support national cybersecurity capability developments, including capability development in: cybersecurity awareness programme, cyber resilience, cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, standards and procedures developments for various departments and industries. My duties included: cybersecurity capability development, research & innovation management, collaboration development and relations management, human capital development, project management, and resource allocations/balancing over a portfolio of projects, performance management, business development and marketing, overseeing assets and IP management, overseeing Compliance to EHS, OHS, and Security, finance management and budgeting, and systems development for clients.
I lead an IT department with various programmes in the specializations of IT Communication Networks and Computer Engineering, Information Security, and Support Services from undergraduate to Doctoral level. This involved providing strategic direction, translation and operationalization of institutional strategies, providing leadership and capital development of academic staff, steer all academic and administrative functions, champion the RnI activities, managed relationships with partners and collaborator alliances, human capital development, resource allocations/balancing over a portfolio of programmes, performance management, business development and marketing, overseeing assets and IP management, overseeing Compliance to EHS, OHS, and Security, finance management and budgeting, and community engagement project management.
My main responsibilities was to provide strategic direction and lead three teams to provide excellent services through mentorship, capability development and performance management. The key skills used include, leadership and management, human capital development and performance management across teams, vendor and contract management, OLA & SLA management, solutions quality management, project management, business analysis, process engineering, business intelligence, training and development, financial managementand budgeting, cybersecurity, quality management, and solutions architecture. Provided research supervision and lectures for BTech, Masters and Doctoral students in various subjects within the Informatics Department such as, Business- IT Strategic Alignment, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, Advanced Business Analysis, Project Management Knowledge Management, and Systems Development. As a manager and Senior BA, I was responsible for BA team management, development and training of business analysis in practise while performing the enterprise analysis role. In this role time management, agile and evolutionary methodology, project management, financial management, and process engineering competencies were crucial. The main role included transformation of high level business cases into a detailed requirements specification for Technical, Process, Development, Implementation, Testing and the Business, to facilitate successful delivery of the requirements through project delivery applying project management methodologies, within timeline, budget and according to the requirements specification.

this role I performed both business analytics and development functions. The role involved the investigation and elicitation of business requirements, translate to technical form and design the solution, develop the solution as per customer need and the design, test and deploy the solution, train the users, and also maintain and administrate Business Intelligence solutions. The main use of Business Intelligence tool was for business reporting, business analytics, investigate better ways on reporting solutions and version control; with conjunction with performance, change and incident management teams and other stakeholders. Data mining for research and marketing or fraud control purposes. Provide statistics and revenue generation reports to the business for decision-making.
