• Liaise with Customer and ISO Certification bodies for external audit and follow-up.
• Organizing and Leading Management Review Meeting and preparation of minutes of meeting.
• Ensure that controls for project & site documentation are in place through the document controllers.
• Conduct QC inspection in the vendor premises such Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Hydrotest, Painting Inspection, In-Process Inspection (Fabrication), etc.
• To ensure that Quality Management System documentation is up-to-date throughout the company
• To review and update Quality management system procedures and execute any revision requests from various departments.
• To ensure that the new procedures or changes to existing procedures are not in conflict with the requirements of the ISO standards.
• To devise continual improvement strategies in collaboration with all Department managers and respective process users and ensures its implementation in order to improve the company's QMS.
• To assist in arranging, conducting and reporting Management Review meetings of the Quality Management System.
• To present monthly reports regarding the performance of Quality Assurance Unit and any other related issues to the direct Manager.
• To keep the direct Manager regularly updated on quality related issues.
• To perform all other duties as indicated by the direct Manager.
Responsible for the completion of the project in a timely manner and with the required quality.
Responsible for the quality system to be properly implemented up to the detailed quality control requirements of the client.
Responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System against the ISO 9001:2000 and against the company procedures.
Responsible for the implementation and maintainance of QMS for a specific project under MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting). The project is the Al Hamra Firdous and Mixed Use Tower. The tower upon completion is the tallest tower in Kuwait.
Responsible for the IQA with some some other projects under EPCM. Such projects were under O & M- Security System for Al Seif Palace, O & M-Facilities Management for Al Seif Palace, MEP-for a 360-degree Mall, etc.
A Quality Management Representative
To develop, communicate and continually maintain a documented quality management system which meets with the requirements of ISO. 9001 and to assure compliance of products and systems with specified quality standards.
Establish, reviews, approves and issues standard product quality plans and project quality plans.
Establish, review, approves and issues ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) for every project
Reviews the submitted submittal documents in relation to the project.
Develops and establish a WPS (Welding procedure Qualification) and qualifies the welders according to the established WPS in accordance to ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1, etc.
Monitor the completion and inspection of projects from a sub-contractor inside and outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Plans and coordinates Internal Quality Audits; follows up and assist with the resolution of quality related problems
Assist all Project Managers in the implementation of the company Quality Program as they relate to the specific projects.
Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and make appropriate recommendations to management for its improvement
Reviews, approves and issues standard product quality plans and project quality plans
Review and approves inspection practices within the factory and within the supplier premises including welding parameters
Comply with ARAMCO requirements especially in welding parameters
Conduct welding inspection in SS (316, Duplex) and CS Pipe welding and structural welding
Generates WPS in accordance to ASME Sec IX and AWS D1.1 as required
Coordinate all NDT procedures with third party
Pre-Inspection of welding consumables before the start of the project
Witnessing of welder and procedure qualification test, preparation of test coupons.
Verify the welders continuity record
Maintain and compile the required QA/QC Dossier
Inspect the required pre-heat temp based on the established WPS.
Develop and maintain a quality management system structure in line with the business plans, quality policies and objectives.
Periodically review the quality systems, planning internal quality audit (IQA) and facilitating management reviews, to ensure proper implementation and effectiveness of the system.
Leads a group of Internal Quality Auditors.
Manages the development, review, control and distribution of the quality system documentation, including the management of the quality manual, and ensuring that they are available at point of use.
Define and implement a quality inspection plan for the effective control of production processes, materials and products, and ensuring that acceptable standards and specifications are consistently adhered to.
Establish an effective calibration system and ensure that calibration services provided by designated authority is traceable to National and/or International Standards.
Monitor the performance measurement of Quality Management System, Customer Satisfaction, Process, Product and Service in line with the quality objectives and report the results to the management.
Oversees that corrective and/or preventive actions in response to quality system and product quality problems are identified, implemented and effective.
Acts as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and liaise with the Quality System Certification Bodies in matters related to the maintenance of the quality system in line with the requirement of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Standards.
One of the associates in acquiring the certification for ISO 17025:1999 for our state-of-the-art Testing Laboratory.
Calibration of Test and Measuring Equipments including special equipments such as Freon Leak Detectors, Freon Charging Machines, Psychrometric Machines,
Concurrently assigned as Internal Quality Auditor which focuses on auditing the Quality activites of each and every departments.
