Significant responsibility in projects such as Grand Hyatt Hotel, Sheikh Jaber Al Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah Tennis Complex, New Palace of Justice, Hilton Canopy.
Conduct weekly meetings on design updates and foster coordination with the different MEP and Structural engineers as required to develop design and prepare working drawings.
Prepare design proposals to submit to the MPW, KFD and other government agencies considering the tight urban site and constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget.
Generate variety of alternatives during design development that integrate applicable local building codes, engineering requirements, site surveys, project specification and client needs during.
Compile information from drawing reports and published documents such as sales, estimating, and project management departments to confirm the accuracy of prepared working drawings.
Adapting approved layout plans and working details according to site circumstances and resolving problems that arising due to lack of coordination during on-going construction.
Traveling regularly to building sites and proposed locations as well as attending weekly progress meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists to be updated.
Maintain sub-contractor collaboration by advising team in issues related to design, construction standards and quality control.
Monitor and mark-up project documents and material submittals with project specification and design intent.
Attend design workshops and site meetings, and prepare meeting minutes and review reports.
Consult with other professionals about design and prepare design proposals with feasibility reports to present to the client; keeping within financial budgets and deadlines.
Oversee workloads within the team and provide staff leadership to ensure that work is done accurately and efficiently.
Work closely with a team of building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists and principal contractors to deliver a unified package.
Review tender package to ensure that all working drawings comply with the strict standards and criteria of the Local Building Codes and appropriate building techniques and practices.
Create detailed Architectural Site plans, building layouts, reflective ceiling and flooring plans, building cross-sections and envelope detailing using CAD software and schedules for finishes and openings from which costing is made.
Provide specification information on materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall, flooring and ceiling finishes.
Produce and modify drawings and make design refinements according to revisions/mark-ups by clients and consulting specialists.
Provide support for staff on CAD models; keeping up to date on the latest design tools and company standards with senior CAD staff.
Involved in a wide range of residential and commercial buildings including reputed malls and souks such as Audi Car Showroom, New City Centre in Shuwaikh, Al-Kout mall pedestrian bridge; Ahli United Bank and infrastructure projects in Iraq.
Produce and modify a complete set of working drawings including but not limited to plans, sections, elevations, details in CAD.
Consult with other professionals about design and keeping within financial budgets and deadlines; preparing tender applications and presentations.
Write and present reports and proposals to adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any conflicts that may arise during construction to ensure compliance with design intent and coordination with specifications.
Prepare construction documents for building permit and tender document as required by local Building Code and Municipal authorities.
Prepare highly detailed and accurate final drawing set including base plans, planting plans, site details, grading and drainage features, overlaying lighting, etc. and full with appropriate plant specifications to generate quantity takeoffs for estimating.

● Prepare time schedule report and budget plans. Prepare design development drawings; landscape drawings design; miscellaneous presentations and producing construction-working drawings based on international standard codes and quality assurance plans.
● Prepare in-detail presentations of interior and furniture design. specifying the nature and quality of materials required, resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.

● Review shop drawings with as-built drawings, advise contractor in technical and coordination issues and quality control.

Masters in Construction Management from Auckland University of Technology with main project on “Uptake of Building Information Modelling in the New Zealand Construction industry”. Graduated with Distinction and with a Certificate in Educational Bridging. Working knowledge of NZ3910 and CCA .
