1. Assess manuscripts, design samples, checking artwork samples and 2nd proofs for market/ cultural suitability & email feedback to the UK office - cross checking with previous correspondence to make sure essential amends have been made.
2. Keep detailed and updated financial records of all transactions related to the department.
3. Recruit and commission free-lance editors, designers, artists and translators to work on different local and global projects and make sure that the presented material meets the requirements.
4. Contact local advisers for viewing and assessing our new material and to arrange focus groups when necessary.
5. Supply the UK office with MoE specifications for all syllabi. This would also entail translating the specs and analyzing them.
6. Maintain regular contact with advisers and translators (updating all related info regularly) to ensure they meet agreed deadlines & arrange collection of their work.
7. Coordinate and arrange all details pertaining and related to research visits. (appointments with schools/teachers/focus groups, full schedule for the visit).
