Project Description:
• Administration Building: Consists of 2 Basement Floors, Ground Floor and 9 Typical Floors tower starts at 5th floor.
• Car Park Building: Multi-Storey Car Park Consists of 2 Basement Floors, Ground Floor and 3 Typical Floors Including all Needed Services for the Project.
• Central and West Fire Stations: with basement shelter floor, ground & first floor including control tower for each.
Responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring of the work in site during construction to be updated with the situation for all architecture work progress in the project with help of architecture inspectors and solve problems or prepare job site instruction if needed.
• Review all architectural shop drawings and construction material submitted by the contractor and ensures achievement for all technical and contractual requirements of the project and complies with all previous approvals.
• After review and study submit recommendations and comments to the client.
• Attend the weekly and monthly progress meetings and reply for architectural inquiries from DGCA engineers and evaluate the architectural actual progress submitted by the contractor and discussing any arch. problems.
• Coordination between the architectural drawings and all related services and other engineering branches to make sure that there is no conflict between them or any problems in implementation.
• Review reports for the work done by the contractor and match the actual work on site.
• Overseeing all architectural executive work in the project including aluminum& glazing, limestone cladding, raised floor, internal finishes …etc, and prepare reports to the Resident Engineer.
• Liaising with the client (DGCA) and the contractor to help finalize the project to the fullest on time.
• Providing help to the Engineer in charge if there is any architectural problem
PROJECT: Construction of Bid Pack 5A&5B-Roads, Site Utilities, Substations, Surface Parkings, Landscaping and Oasis Works Sabah Al-Salem University City- KUWAIT UNIVERSITY, Kuwait.
Project Puget: (100 Million KD)
Responsibilities:
• Accurately preparing and presenting detailed shop drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project.
• Check and make sure that all the required architectural materials comply with the contract.
• Coordination between the architectural& landscape drawings and all services schemes and other engineering branches to make sure that there is no conflict between them or any problems in implementation.
• Presenting proposals to clients, dealing with enquiries and negotiating any amendments to finalize any conflicts or problems showing in the tender drawing.
• Coordinate our project with other bid backs to resolve any problems and ensure full coordination of all architectural & landscape matters.
• Liaising with subcontractors of the project and cooperation to coordinate work with them.
• Do some visits to the site to raise the problems in site to study and coordination to solve.
• Assessing a site's potential to meet the client's specifications.
• Providing help to the Engineer in charge if there is any architectural problem.
Project: Contract No. (294) "Design Completing, License, Construction, Completion and Maintenance of “AL-Rabeia Intermediate Girls School - Farwaniya area”, MIMISTRY OF EDUCATION, Kuwait.
Project Puget: (3 Million KD)
Responsibilities:
• Review all architectural drawings submitted by the contractor and ensure achievement for all technical and contractual requirements of the project and comply with all previous approvals.
• Coordination between the architectural drawings and all services schemes and other engineering branches to make sure that there is no conflict between them or any problems in implementation.
• Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by contractor to ensure adherence to contract and notifies the manager of discrepancies.
• Review reports for work submitted by the contractor and match the actual work done on site.
• Overseeing all architectural executive work in the project, adoption and reporting to the ministry engineer.
• Liaising with the client (M.O.E) and the contractor to help finalize the project to the fullest.
• Providing help to the Engineer in charge if there is any architectural problem.
Project: Contract No. (RA/188) "Construction, Completion and Maintenance of Interchanges on Main Highways - Fahaheel Expressway Connecting to South of Sabahiya and Mangaf Area", MIMISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS, Kuwait.
Project Puget: (27 Million KD)
Responsibilities:
• Review the Constructing of the network of work appropriate for the project.
• Presenting the schedule of work to others in the consultant company and the client (MPW).
• Producing visual aids to help explain the schedule of work, including detailed schedules, graphs, bar charts and network diagrams.
• Using specialist computer software to help keep the project on course.
• Making sure the achieved progress on the project fits the progress anticipated in the schedule.
• Amend the schedule of the project in case of any delay to complete the work with the least possible time and cost.
• Liaising with the client and the contractor to help finalize the project.
• Providing help to the Engineer in charge if there is a problem with planning.
General Responsibilities:
• Conducting preliminary studies and researches of proposed projects to obtain information as to space, design requirements and obtaining measurements.
• Preparing a study of 3 different options for the project and preparing optional reports for the client When the project with a government body, such as Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Public Works (MPW).
• Designing of layout and drawing preliminary sketch of projects to present to client.
• Preparing the design of development drawings to reach the final design that fits all the requirements of the client.
• Assisting in developing and coordinating development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for project has been obtained from the competent authorities.
• Reviewing shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and the absence of contradictions.
• Receive identify clients and their requirements in the design and follow-up design stages all the way to the signing of the contract.
• Providing support and architectural advice to junior architects crew and management staff.
