Planning:

Assist in the development of new business and implementation of security consultancy arrangements and management of the sub-contractors to perform their services effectively.This will include reviewing current services, implementing consistent procedures and performance standards and ensuring the contractor operates to agreed procedures and Salamanca standards.

Operational Management:

•Assist the Operations Manager Middle East and Operations Director to oversee routine Pakistan operations. Ensure risk mitigation measures are applied correctly in accordance with Company procedures.
•Manage performance improvement actions for the sub-contractors
•Liaison with equipment providers to ensure the effective management of technical security systems.

I worked as a Deputy Security Coordinator for Aggreko International (Pakistan).

Aggreko is an international company provided 50MW renatl power to KESC (Karachi Electric Supply Corporation) in Karachi. We had 02 operational sites each provided 25MW.

Main Responsibilities included:

Everyday security for all international in-country staff

Journey management - local and international

Security briefings and training

Intelligence gathering and report writing

Management of 100 plus local security guards

Equipment procurement

Invoice monitoring

Fleet and driver management

Liaison between Client and sub-contactors

Carrying out duties of the security manager during absence

Main responsibilities included:

Assessment, planning and coordination of security management efforts

Ensure security and safety of all employees, material and resources/ assets in designated area of responsibility through dedicated and available out source security efforts

Constant monitoring and reviewing of Law and Order situation especially with reference to its impact on Expats in the region of interest, keeping the Country Head Security abreast at all times with the latest development on the subject

Overt and covert regular security checks at all NSN offices, place of work, installations, residences and other assets in area of responsibility to ensure alertness and readiness of security staff with the view to counter / thwart any threat

Establishing of rapport, liaison and coordination with local government, media and security agencies in order to gain maximum information on security aspects.

Main responsibilities included:

Supervise and administrate two Project offices, fifteen Guest Houses, twelve Apartments & 250 Towers in Karachi and Hyderabad. Total staff numbers: Expat staff - 70. Local staff - 600

Implement procedures to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property situated in the offices, guest houses and other accommodation

Process Invoices and requisitions for security provider and internal departments

Ensure that all items/equipments and machinery are functional on a 24/7 basis Instigate emergency call-out procedures

Local staff management and administrative duties; making complete records of inventory for project offices, Guest Houses and Towers

Forming and maintaining good working relationships with all employees, especially Expats

Ensuring the safety of Airport, Aircraft and Civil Aviation’s establishments against any unlawful interference and threats

Preventing unauthorized person and vehicles from access to prohibited areas of the Airport

Taking effective measures for preventing sabotage, hijacking, terrorism and violence

Providing security and care for all V.V.I.P. personnel, foreign delegates, Government dignitaries and aircraft
