Leading the organization’s finance department and reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities:

● Lead and present monthly, quarterly and statutory audited financial statements to the BoD.
● Present the annual budget along with detail commentary and analysis to the BoD for their approval.
● Present actual periodic financial statements and variance analysis with budget.
● Facilitate the BoD in appointment of internal/external auditors, tax consultants and legal advisors.
● Develop financial strategy to support organization’s scale up objective through improvements in financial policies and procedures.
● Represent organization in board and committee meetings & executive committee meetings.
● Participate in key decisions as a member of Ex-Com, SMT, core committee & AOQ committee.
● Timely renewal of NPO certificate, withholding tax exemptions and filling of company’s tax returns.
Key Achievements:
● Successfully secured restricted grants of USD 35 Million from Health Department, Sindh Government through World Bank by presenting the annual budget plan along with comprehensive commentary to operate 300+ ambulances in the province of Sindh from 40+ stations.
● Headed the transfer of entity from AHCS to SIEHS including the critical documentation transfer of employees, infrastructure, and transfer of net assets at fair value in accordance with section 42 and 43 of The Companies Act 2017.
● ERP Migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
● Successful completion of the fixed asset tagging & verification activity conducted by PWC.
● Developed and implemented a comprehensive finance manual supported by workflows

Reporting to Group CEO and Board of Trustees / Directors, major responsibilities include the following:
● Presentation of the Master Budget of Aman Foundation group along with entity & donor budgets.
● Presented monthly board pack which includes periodic/statutory financial statements, variance analysis and financial dashboard to the Board of Trustees / Directors.
● To complete the statutory and donor audits of Aman Foundation, Aman Health and Aman Institute.
● Established centralized payments and payables department, Administered cash flow, forecasts, fund position, financial manual and monthly closing activities.
● Preparation of feasibility studies and business plans for new business initiatives or donor funded programs, participate in the financial analysis, costing structure and other financial valuations matters for new venture.
● Oversee Payroll disbursement of 1800 employees of Aman group entities after statutory and internal deductions.
Key Achievements:
● Presented a five-year budget of PKR 45 billion for a project ‘Sindh Rescue and Medical Services’, covering the entire Sindh having 70+ stations with a fleet of 660 life-saving ambulances.
● Successfully executed the EAD MOU with the MOFA and PCP renewal for the all Aman entities.
● Implementation of Zakat and Shariah compliant fund raising model for the Aman group.
● Successfully executed the close-out audits of the following projects;
o Sindh People Ambulance Service - USD 18 million
o USAID- Karachi Youth workforce development - USD 7 million.
o BMGF, DLPF and AF’s Family planning SUKH project - USD 15 million.
● ERP Migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to Microsoft Dynamics 2012.

Reporting to the Group Treasury Manager & working in the capacity of Treasurer.
● Submission of working capital report, cash sales and payment plan on daily basis.
● Managing suppliers/Creditors cheques which include verification of invoices, withholding tax deductions & paying the supplier at their due date. Monitoring supplier aging summary & planning the cash outflow.
● Supervise the disbursement of vendor payment/cheques, petty cash, employee advances, loans & settlements.
● Review all banking transactions/adjusting entries to ensure the recording of entries in ERP system.
● Custodian of Scrap Sales Module, coordination with scrap sale committee, monitoring Gate passes, rate verification as per approval/agreement. Preparation of Stock Statements on monthly basis for all inventory.
● Supervise the booking of accrual & Payables through verification of Vouchers (JV PV, PRV, RV, DN, CN etc.).
● Module and GL reconciliations for Accounts Payable, fixed assets, taxation, sales with the company.
● Prepare bank reconciliation of 13 bank accounts maintained at 5 different banks.
Key Achievements:
● Development of "Accounting and Finance Manual" at EBM aided with diagrammatic explanations.
● Accounts Payable Reconciliation from Fox Pro software to Oracle ERP for outstanding liabilities.
● Implementation of 1% GST/16% GST/15% Flood Surcharge in the payment Voucher System (Forms/Reports).
● Development of 100%Advance, partial & other Adjustment Scenario in the payable module (Forms/Reports).
