DUTIES

• Establish and maintain partnership and communication with stakeholders and implementing bodies
• Assist public bodies with development of business plans and signing of Incentive Grant agreements for National Public Works and Treasury
• Provision of Coordination support to the following implementing provincial departments and Municipalities

1. Health - HIV and Aids Program
2. Social Development - Early Childhood Development, HIV and AIDS, Disability, Older Persons and Victim Empowerment Programs
3. Education - HIV and Aids program
4, Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture - Cultural Assistants
5, Safety and Liaison - School Safety Patrols
6. Municipalities - Community Safety Program, Coastal Safety and Home Community Based Care Centers for people living with HIV and Aids and Vulnerable children

• Facilitate mainstreaming of people with Disabilities, Youth, and Vulnerable groups within the Expanded Public Works Programs
• Liaise with SETA’s for Implementation of Social Sector training initiatives (beneficiary training and career pathing)
• Facilitate National Skills Fund training and ensure that Department of Higher Education and Training target is achieved
• Ensure Compliance in financial legislation -PFMA for resources allocated to EPWP social sector to accelerate the roll out of the sector program
• Ensure compliance of the sector reports to EPWP and Treasury requirements
• Consolidate provincial performance reports for National Department of Public Works and Social Needs Cluster
• Ensure implementation of the Expanded Public Works Program according to the New Growth Path
• Monitor and Evaluate the Performance and Impact of the program in the province
