Responsible for the support of planning and coordination of all supply chain related technical activities and personnel in country of a USAID-funded $ 60 million/year and 10+ staff technical assistance and procurement project.
Developing and strengthening MOH and Central Medical stores staff and systems in health commodities forecasting, supply planning, procurement, warehousing, distribution and Logistics management Information Systems.

Provide advisory and technical backstopping to support the implementation of streamlined business process.

Identify staff capacity strengths, constraints and weakness and ensure plans are developed to address them. Train, coach and mentor relevant staff in procurement planning and implementation, including developing procurement plans, contract and inventory management, financial reporting. • Assist in setting up and implementing a procurement electronic database. Design and support the arrangement of systems for training, coaching and on-the-job learning for procurement staff.
Responsible for supporting the government-led capacity development programme within the Ministry of Health, Directorate of Pharmacy services under the direction of the Director of policy implementation, and supply chain. Team leadership: Update the organogram and ToRs of the logistics department according to the mission development; Oversee the team and undertake appraisals of directly supervised colleagues; Ensure training and capacity building for logistics team members in order to increase the level of technical ability and skills within the department;
