1-Directs, coordinates and governs all functions related to safety testing, repair, and
maintenance of biomedical patient care equipment.
2- Provides training and technical leadership to appropriate patient care personnel
regarding equipment operations, standards, and maintenance.
3- Supports the equipment needs of all specialty areas including Radiology, Clinical
Pathology, Respiratory Therapy, and others.
4- Typically reports to top management. Typically manages through subordinate managers
and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
5- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
6- Given input into developing the budget.
7- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination
with other departments.
8- Writing technical specification for the medical equipment.
9- Coordinates and responsible for installation, commissioning of the new medical devices
10- Writing technical reports for equipment that not working properly,
11- Making recall to FDA for the equipment with frequent malfunctions

1-Take care of Radiology, Oncology ( Linear Accelerator), CSSD, Cath lab, Laboratory and Waste Management.
2-Maintain good personal relationships with fellow workers, nursing, medical staff, and vendors.
3-Participate in meetings, seminars, and training as required.
4-Provide technical support for clinical equipment through healthcare system as assigned including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, maintaining parts inventories, performing rounds in customer areas, and participating in on-call rotation.
5-Document all actions and test results according to department policy, using computerized maintenance management software applications and other standards office software application ( EMS )
6-Coordinate and participate in requests of special projects, such as new equipment acquisition purchase planning, development of specifications, analysis of vendor proposals, installation planning, acceptance testing, renovations, equipment upgrades, and equipment disposal.
7-Prepares and modifies medical equipment planning documents, Equipment Schedules, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
8-Inspection, testing, installing, commissioning and delivery of medical equipment to the end user.
9-Perform incident investigation and equipment perform in-service education to patient care equipment users as needed.
10-Determine the availability of required spare parts for (PM) and common (CM) in stock for every year to ensure non-stop operation of the equipment.
11-Follow up all the administrative work with other partners (Manufacturers, Agents, contractors and end Users)
12-Assist to put the plan and the roles of the facility management system according to JCI standards.
13-Follow the quality and infection control rules.
14-Assist head of departments and maintenance manager on setting standards according to JCI standards.

1- Install, adjust, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment.
2- Conduct technical training to team members and customers when required.
3- Provide field operations support to customers.
4- Write professional reports on technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions.
5- Report and escalate all observed incidents, irregularities that occur through proper operational escalation points.
6- Develop and implement short and long term strategies to effectively manage medical equipment performance in the clinics.
7- Set plan for Preventive maintenance (PM) for most of medical equipment and make sure that it is implemented as per the plan.
8- Document all repairing actions and submit reports / summaries according to schedule.
9- Working with CMMS using Oracle.

1- Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, repair and calibration of a wide range of clinical equipment including life support equipment.
2- Set plan for Preventive maintenance (PM) for most of medical equipment and make sure that it is implemented as per the plan.
3- Conducting training sessions for department staff covering safe operation and maintenance of equipment for entry-level and mid-level technicians.
4- Routinely coordinating and managing projects, performing any necessary communication and following-up with the department.
5- Acting as project manager in his absence
6- Working with CMMS using CAFM
