Description:
The Scope of the project is to develop data warehouse for different campaigns, with initial step of project being, capturing all the details of consumers and subscribers who has visited Dell website. Next step is to send mails to those customers based on the type of campaign. Foe Ex. Behavioral targeting campaign, Business as usual campaigns, saved-cart campaign, welcome series campaigns, did you forget campaign etc. To deploy emails, we should suppress and scrub email ids based on customer op-touts, unsubscribers, and apply necessary transformation rules to remove op-tout email ids. And also attach coupons to emails if the customers are eligible for special offers.
Responsibilities:
• Used Data Stage Designer to design and develop jobs for extracting, transforming, and loading data into different Data Marts.
• Used several stages like Sequential file, Lookup, Filter, Transformer, Funnel, Join, Surrogate Key, Dataset during the development process of the Data Stage jobs..
• Mapped the source and target databases by studying the specifications and analyzing the required transforms.
• Worked with several kinds of docs like source to target mapping docs and test case docs etc.
• Extensively used Processing stages likeLookup, join, and merge, Transformer, Filter stage. And debugging stages like Row generator, Peek stage while testing the Data Stage jobs.
