Reporting to: CEO Managing: A team consists of 21 accountants across the kingdom with disparate skills & capabilities. Responsibilities: Providing leadership, direction & management of the finance & accounting team Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO & members of management team Managing the processes for financial forecasting & budgets, & overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting Advising on long-term business & financial planning Establishing & developing relations with senior management & external partners & stakeholders Reviewing all formal finance, HR & IT related procedures Formulate & implement financial & business performance reporting packages & reporting cycle. Establishes a Group-wise accounting policy, procedures, processes including the accounting charts, & system of internal controls to ensure protection of assets, accuracy & reliability of financial information & financial reporting. Maintains a forward-looking financial plan including cash flows covering equity & debt to provide for projected financial needs of the Group businesses. Reviews monthly/quarterly financial performance reports & reporting deviations to plan objectives with recommendations for corrective actions. Liaises closely with the company's Finance Managers assuring that Group-wise policies, processes & system internal controls are complied with. Other duties & responsibilities assigned by CEO for the development of Finance department & reporting system. Supports CEO in establishing at the Operating Company level accounting policies for each group with relevant staff skills to ensure delivery of quality service, reliable financial accounting & reporting. Establish Chart of Accounts, financial reporting templates, period closing procedures, reporting cycle to ensure timely and accurate reporting. And risk management. Evaluate the monthly/quarterly Group consolidated reporting packages, in the agreed format providing analyses of major deviations to the approved business plans. Supervise and monitor internal and external auditors of companies and forward the final report to CEO. Provides coaching and mentoring to the finance staff and leads in skills development. Contributes to the achievement of Group's objectives through compliance reviews, risk assessment. reviews and advisory services. Lead and be responsible for the annual business planning processes for group companies. Other duties and responsibilities assigned by CEO for the development of Finance department and reporting system. Leading transformation office RISE initiatives are the targeted processes to be transformed, wherein: R → Roar (Sales) I → Inspiration (Marketing) S → Shield (PMO) E → Emerge (TSC) Understand current state and required steps to transition users to new tools and processes. Continually look for opportunities to innovate and improve processes. Working with CRM and PRM business leads to help drive alignment and standardization of requirements and processes where possible. Provide effective leadership and management of continuous improvement disciplines for all applicable products & services supporting processes and procedures which will provide. Coordinate the daily lab activities of his/her team to meet production targets. Both personally and as a team perform basic lab tasks such as production of quality explants and Agrobacterium, inoculation, transfers, shoot plugging, and tissue sampling.
