1.Purpose:To plan, schedule, monitor, evaluate&revise various maintenance activities on
Plant&equipment using optimal resources so as to ensure maximum plant availability.
2.Organizational Relationship:
2.1.Reports to:Maintenance Manager
2.2.Coordinates with:Other Maintenance Sections, Operations, Materials Management,
Engineering and Inspection&Stores Departments.
2.3.Supervises:Maintenance Planner.
3.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
3.1.Ensure Standard procedures&forms are available for various maintenance activities.
3.2.Ensure proper Standard Job Instructions(SJI)are available for various preventive
maintenance(PM)jobs in coordination with various maintenance sections.
x3.3.Coordinate between operation&maintenance teams in various plant related activities.
3.4.Plan&Schedule PM jobs for all plant equipment.
3.5.Monitor, record and evaluate job completion for all types of maintenance activities
such as PM, CM, SPM, modification&upgradation works, etc.
3.6.Co-ordinate Modification requests for approval and execution.
3.7.Maintain Equipment maintenance History.
3.8.Prepare periodical technical&statistical reports.
3.9.Responsible to organize&maintain Operation&Maintenance Instruction Manuals,
As-Built drawings, Catalogues and Technical Books&Literature.
3.10.Material follow-up&expediting to ensure the timely availability of materials
required for various maintenance works.
3.11.Provide on the job training and transfer of knowledge&experience to subordinate
Maintenance Planners to enhance their skills.
3.12.Perform other related tasks as required.

5.Qualification Requirements:
5.1.Academic Qualification:Degree in Mechanical Engineering(preferable)or any other
engineering degree.
5.2.Skills Requirements:Good organization skills, Ability to read&understand
Drawings, O&M Manuals, exposure to rotating equipment, filters, and vessels
maintenance, good command of English language, computer literacy and hands on
experience with ERP(SAP)systems.
5.3.Physical Requirements:Good vision and good health and have endurance to meet tight
deadlines with limited resources.
5.4.Job Related Experience:Five years of intensive maintenance planning experience
in power, desalination or chemical industries.
