I was in charge of the entire Finance division assisted by A GM and three senior managers. The total number of staff (mangers, branch accountants and casheirs) was 61.
I was overseeing the preparation of the consolidated annual budget, cash flow projection, and monthly management accounts for the entire company and branches. I regularly meet/discuss with the company's external auditors and have the final results approved by me and the President of the company.
I was also attending all meetings with the lending banks and company consultants to discuss the credit facility requirement of the company and other financing issues.
I participated in almost all major strategic meetings with the manufacturers Nissan Tokyo on regular basis. Discussions included annual and semi annual sales and order plans..
As a head of Finance Division, I looked after the whole accounting, finance and treasury functions of the company, assisted by A GM and three Senior Managers for Central Accounts, Banking Relationship and Payable Controls, all located at the HQ in Jeddah. I was also responsible for more than 30 branches' financial/accounting activities for the company whose accountants used to report to one of my Departments directly. Total head counts of my division (including branches) was 61 (managers, accountants & cashiers). I over saw and closely supervised the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow projections and periodic management accounts and comparative cash flow reports. As part of the top management of the company, I participated in numerous meetings/discussions attending almost all strategic meetings with major customers and car dealers, the lending banks and negotiations with the manufacturers in Tokyo (Nissan Motor Co.) on annual and semi-annual basis.
