During my one year long tenure at Cognizant Technology solutions:
Underwent a fast-track training for 4 months in Oracle, Informatica, UNIX systems and Software quality Management; did a real time project which dealt with modeling a Data Warehouse.
As a Developer: Worked on the transformation of data that was extracted from the company’s internal database and created tables based on RDBMS concepts and uploaded the transformed data into the database used by the applications available on the company’s portal . The ETL tool used was the Pentaho Data Integration tool.

As a Junior Business Analyst: Created Business Requirement documents and Change Request Documents along with prototype designs of the applications based on understanding of requirements from the clients and taking into consideration the feasibility of the same; facilitated effective communication between the clients and the development team.
