Description
Barari Group is a well-respected group of companies that has been conducting business since 1980 in MENA region as well as South Asia with as many as 30 companies, factories and facilities under its belt. Naseem Al Barari General Trading is a multinational wholesale trading house.

Responsibilities
• Identifying and evaluating business opportunities, target markets and potential partners/clients.
• Researching key decision makers, approaching them, understanding their needs and creating opportunities.
• Initiating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements by coordinating requirements, managing resources and leading operations.
• Responsible for heading up Barari's expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients in defined territories.
• Tasked with developing business strategies to penetrate in local and foreign markets.
• Building and maintaining long-term and productive relationships with key customers and decision makers.
• Representing the group locally & internationally through Trade shows/fairs, exhibitions, field visits and clients' meetings.
• Developing entry level joiners to become an effective sales-force.

Achievements

• Laid the foundations of a functional business development unit at Barari Group.
• Successfully captured new markets in competitive regions like Indonesia, Korea, Japan, USA, UK, Ukraine, and Russia.
• Efforts led to increased sales in Morocco, Kenya, India and doubled sales figures in Pakistan, Maldives, Egypt and Palestine.
• Expanded the sales to cover new sales channels ( Manufacturers and Private Labeling)
• Co-founded a new operational office for the group in Madagascar.
• Added new product lines to the existing product list and actively promoted sales.
• Detailed market exploration efforts led to 10-15% reduction on some products and raw materials.
• Won the sole distribution rights of OKI condensed milk in Iraq.
• Rebranded BARARI tea and introduced the product to the US and Canadian markets as well as allocating a distributor for BARARI brand in USA and CANADA.
• Registered "BARARI" brand in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Europe, and UK.

Project Coordinator في Amana Steel Industries

Responsibilities:

Onsite (Project: KUEHNE+NAGEL Warehouse Extension Phase 2)

• Was responsible for coordinating between the precast and steel works.
• Assembled and provided all the necessary information such as the paperwork and official submittals including daily reports, inspection requests.
• Ensured that all justifications for contractual variations during the project are maintained to support subsequent commercial claims.
• Coordinated with the QC Engineer for tests to be carried out and initiate WIR for the finished works.
• Efficiently passed all the revised information to the Site Engineer and ensured that it’s being carried out properly
• Coordinated with the surveyor and planned the survey works in advance as per the work sequence.

Off-site (Projects: Ikea Doha, Shelter for Heavy Spare Parts, Beach Villa, and Multi-Purpose Hall)
• Coordinated with the main clients for all the submittals.
• Managed the subcontracts with the suppliers.
• Maintained the documents submission dates.
• Maintained the material delivery dates for each phase.
• Coordinated with the workshop supervisor for production.
