Job Duties/Summary

The Project Information Technology Specialist role provides technology service delivery to the project
Providing information technology and applications support solutions for the project team.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing IT
support activities on the project under the
direction of the Project Information Manager
- Works with the project team to assist with all IT
support requirements
- Assist with the implementation of the project
network environment including hardware
Configuration, software deployment, testing,
troubleshooting and reporting
- Assist in the implementation of all project
applications and support procedures
- Provide specialized support for the implementation
of voice (desk phone & mobile), wireless,
security and printing services and systems
- Provide project Help Desk services and support
and assist in the escalation of support and
problem solving activities for the project team
- Assist with project training requirements for applications and systems as required
- Assist with IT hardware & software procurement
and asset management
- Involve server installation, backup tape and
upgrade. maintain desk phone via systems

- Maintain Lotus Domino Email Systems 8.5 (such as

Maintaining systems and application

Follow and maintain IT on the barge or vessel

Maintain the server, network,

server installation
Network - Basic to maintain the Firewall, MPLS
router, Switches, Bluecoat and all
related to LAN (Offshore, Barge,
Onshore), VSAT communication systems

Telecommunication - Phone systems (PBX) and all
related to the telco devices

Backup - Maintaining backup systems
using MSL4048 Library for
daily and weekly backup

software (Symantec Backup)

Maintaining computers, video conference
include installations and purchasing
all other IT assets (Offshore, Barge, Onshore).
Liase with building Management/maintenance
for any issue or disruption on electricity

Maintaining systems for Jusco and a few company

Maintaining, troubleshooting and installation of
server (HP Proliant, IBM, Compaq Proliant,

server hardware such as SCSI, RIB Connection,
Server Troubleshooting.
