Worked within the Legal & Compliance Department where I built the
Contract Management Function by:
- Creating policies & procedures, and driving process efficiency to
current tasks and seek innovative ways to improve performance of
the team
- Contracting with vendors to streamline and automate the Contract
Life Cycle.
In addition to the responsibilities I carried out as a Contract
Management Analyst & Senior Analyst, I also :
- Collaborated with delivery and finance leads to assist with
identification and application of appropriate contract levers
affecting revenue, cost and profit.
- Participated in the development and delivery of
contract/commercial training modules for contract management
staff on a specific project or account.
In addition to the responsibilities I carried out as a Contract Analyst
relating to pre-contracting, contracting, post contracting and contract
end, I also :
- Participated in New Business Meetings, where I advise leadership on
new business opportunities.
- Participated in monthly/quarterly meetings, where -along with
delivery team- I update leadership on the progress of ongoing
projects.
- Updated the Risk & Issues logs, highlighting the current risk & issues
we are facing with projects and put in a plan to remedy/mitigate
them.
- Escalated to internal and external stakeholders when required.
Worked within the Contract Management Team, with a focus on
Financial Services clients, where I:
- Pre-Contracting: Complete vendor registrations, review NDAs, RFPs,
Draft Contracts and RFP responses.
- Contracting: Review client contracts, redline and negotiate them.
- Post-Contracting: Create and maintain various logs -including but
limited to- Deliverables, Compliance, Invoicing, Change Request.
- Contract End: Archive all project documents -including but not
limited to- RFPs, Proposals, NDAs, Contract, Schedules, Deliverables,
Deliverable Acceptance, Change Requests, Subcontract Agreements,
Letters … etc
- Other: Coordinate with the finance department to ensure correct
billing and collection of contractual revenues as well as closely
monitoring Bid Bonds and Performance Bonds.
Worked within the Contracting Department, where I:
- Drafted and executed various agreements -including but not limited
to- Base Station Lease Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Nondisclosure
Agreements.
- Maintained the Agreements tracker, the tenders tracker.
- Prepared various reports -including but not limited to- Tender
Evaluation Report.
- Negotiated with various vendors post bid and during the contracting
phase.
- Acted as liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders with
regards to tendering/contracting.
- Created and reviewed Agreement templates.
Worked within the Contracts & Tenders Division, where I:
- Maintained RFP status report and library.
- Prepared the weekly contract report, and maintained the contract
library and database.
Successfully completed my Cooperative Training Program within the legal administration of the Secretariat General of the GCC, where I provided legal opinions and analysis. I also drafted, reviewed, translated, and summarized various legal documents -including, but not limited to-:
- Contracts
- MOUs/MOCs
- Treaties
- Agreements
- Regulations
- Letters of Intent
