Received deliveries of new equipment and ensured that all the supplies were in proper order - Stored the supplies and items received in their designated place to avoid time wasted searching for items and general confusion.
Maintained store facilities to ensure smooth functioning - Made arrangements and placed orders for new stock and supplies whenever necessary.
Requisition, receive, stock and issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment utilizing a computer purchasing and inventory control system.
Verify articles against purchase orders or packing lists and count and inspect materials for damage or defects.
Identify vendors and obtain quotes of prices for goods to be purchased; research new parts, substitute products and pricing.
Issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment, obtaining proper records and requisitions.
Enter and retrieve data from a computerized inventory control system.
Perform weekly cycle counts, quarterly inventory, mid -year inventory, year-end inventory and physical inventory and prepare year-end inventory reports
Resolves discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery reports by contacting vendors or requesters
Monitor jobs in progress, inform personnel about logistic problems or updates, and handle questions or complaints from personnel and clients.
Maintains data base for all projects (general directory, completed and on-going projects).
Maintains proper archive of sales orders and related documents in a folder for all opened projects.
Assists in preparing material requirement plan/schedule for accessories and main production raw materials.
Assists in estimating raw materials such as pipes, MS plates, checkered plates, and other accessories.
Generates purchase requisition (PR) of raw materials based from MRP.
Assists in generating project file and updates data base by entering all necessary information of a project.
Consolidate and prepare all production documents for releasing (BOM, transmittal, MR, OCR, drawings.
Document Control.
Assists in following up and updating summary status reports (production and delivery) of projects and raw materials.
Administrative work for planning department.
