Manage the development and the implementation of relevant marketing research/survey to
support the communication strategy development
- Manage the content development and production of different communication materials on
behalf of the CID clients (including but not limited to media relations, promotional
materials, events management etc..)
- Contribute to the development of marketing communications plans/strategies for assigned
CID clients
- Manage assigned projects ensuring that technical and financial objectives are met
- Support in the recruitment and selection of the best suppliers serving the Marketing
Communications department and ensure that agreements and contracts with suppliers are
being fulfilled
Assist in the development and dissemination of communication information and publication
materials including success stories and press releases.
- Handle media monitoring process and develop regular media reports.
- Logistical support to UN Women public campaigns and events.
- Assist in organizing UN Women roundtable discussions, press conferences, brief sessions
and interviews.
- Manage and monitor performance UN Women’s social media platforms
- Prepare supporting documentation on technical workflow and methodologies.
- Collaborate in planning, monitoring and reporting of communications activities.
- Participate in inter-gender and communication groups.
- Develop the website content.
- Assist in managing the production of audiovisual materials such as documentaries, short
films and Public Service Announcements.
- Develop press releases, statements and media advisories in Arabic and English.
- Assist in planning and managing International events such as International Women’s Day
and International Day to End Violence Against Women.
- Draft all procurement documents related to communications activities such as Requests for
Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Long Term Agreements (LTAs).
Support in writing and editing communications materials
- Assist in developing regular media monitoring reports
- Write stories, reports and minutes of meetings
- Help with the content development of the website
- Translate communications materials
- Assist in the preparation of events
- Support in the development of audiovisual materials
- Update the communications filing system.
