1- Determine the scope of the audit, and apply a comprehensive review of all policies and procedures related to Human recourses management.
2- Develop a plan for conducting the audit, Identify the goals of the audit, and create a timeline for completing the audit.
3- Gather all the applicable documents and forms under the scope of the audit, and review current and potential actions.
4- Create a report with the findings of the audit. This report should identify any strengths and weaknesses found during the audit, as well as offer recommendations to correct any instances of noncompliance.
5- Discuss the findings and formulate a plan to address each problem or area of concern identified in the report. Action items may include changes to policy, procedures and/or training practices
6- Consider the available resources and set a timeline for correcting noncompliance issues, and ensure any corrective actions are realistic and achievable.
7- Ensure the audit information is kept confidential and protected from unintentional disclosure.
8- Ensuring the effective utilization of the organization’s human resources.
9- Gather benchmark data about jobs, compensation and benefits.
10- Map out salary ranges for our open positions.
11- Calculate retention, turnover and internal mobility rates.
12- Report on key recruiting metrics like time to fill and hiring costs.
13- Assist managers in designing hiring and training plans.
14- Analyze employees’ answers to internal surveys and Assess results from employee performance reviews.
15- Identify the top reasons why candidates and employees choose to leave to Recommend areas of improvement for all HR procedures.
