Plant Operations Manager
Reporting directly to the CEO I lead a Logistics and Manufacturing team of 50 workers trough 4 managers.

Main responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the annual budget plan in the manufacturing plant, guaranteeing its fulfilment, analysing deviations, boosting the implementation of continuous improvement actions that improve factory's performance and competitiveness
• Develop and implement the annual investment plan in the manufacturing plant to pursue its maximum optimization, guaranteeing increased Food Safety, Safety, efficiency increase and premises improvement while fulfilling all the legal, corporate and client's standards

• Ensure that all operations are carried out in time and at budgeted efficiency, fulfilling the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality requirements according with the company strategy and legal requirements
• Accountable for Operations Department objectives
• Promote well-trained and motivated employees
• Responsible for the unit strategic plan
• Plan the annual capacity of the plant according with sales and marketing forecast
• Responsible for all the investment projects of the company

• Installation and start-up of a new bottling line
• Responsible by 5% reduction on packaging materials costs in 2 years
• Responsible by 6% reduction on overheads costs
• Responsible by 4, 5% increase on factory efficiency
• Responsible for the implementation of a data collecting system and KPI analysis
• Challenged the shopfloor to rethink the way they foresee their activities

Reporting directly to the Industry Manager I lead a multifuntional team of 90 workers trough 3 managers (Production Manager, Packaging Manager and Maintenance and Utilities Manager).

Main responsibilities:
• Responsible for the start-up of a greenfield 1.44Mhl Brewery
• Responsible for implementation of plant policies and processes
• Accountable for definition of annual objectives
• Responsible for the ramp up of the site
• Responsible for lean manufacturing implementation on site
• SAP Key user for production, packaging and maintenance
• Responsible for current plant expansion project on the packaging area

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager I lead a multifunctional team of 150 workers trough 6 managers in a 1400000 hl brewery.

Main responsibilities:
• Ensure that all operations are carried out in time and at budgeted efficiency, fulfilling the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality requirements according with the DAMM group strategy,
• Start and handle plant policies and processes.
• Accountable for plant production objectives.
• Create and keep well community relationship.
• Promote well-trained and motivated employees.
• Accountable for establishing whole shift production agendas.

• Member of the Plant Direction Board responsible for 5 packaging lines, maintenance, process, raw materials warehouse and controlling from the Packaging Department,
• Plan the annual capacity of the packaging lines according with sales and marketing forecast with the National Planning Department,
• Lead a manufacturing team of 300 persons to fulfil all the SABMiller and Coca-Cola quality, environment, health and safety standards and goals,
• Plan and manage annual CAPEX and the controllable fixed costs budget from the packaging department (approximately 5500000 USD),
• Lead improvement projects in the areas under my management,
• SABMiller “Task Force” “Manufacturing Way Team leader” - Manage the team responsible by implementing the SABMiller World Class Manufacturing program.

I led a multifunctional plant team of 250 workers. The team was composed by Production, Process and Maintenance.

Main responsibilities:
• Monthly control of production and manpower planning,
• Ensure that all operations were carried out in time and at budgeted efficiency, fulfilling the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality requirements according with the Kraft Foods group strategy,
• Analyse and improve top industrial indicators,
• Analyse, control and forecast the manufacturing department Budget

Achievements and Results:
• Implement the KRAFT FOODS standard industrial procedures with significant waste reduction at the end of the financial year,
• Part of the “BRC Audit steering team” with BRC approval in 2008,
• Shopfloor management in order to improve shopfloor autonomous management and ownership.

I led a multifunctional Plant shift team of 40 workers. The team was composed by Production, Process, Logistics and Maintenance elements.

Main responsibilities:
• Coach Lean Management integrating Six Sigma and Kaizen Tools.
• Ensure that all operations were carried out in time and at budgeted efficiency, fulfilling the Health, Safety and Quality requirements.
• Analyse and improve top industrial indicators.
• Implement SMED, 5S’s e PCDA.
